    In the distance scaffolding up as work on the retaining wall by the entrance is underway.
    Some workers on the main walkway. Use them to get a sense of scale for the concrete walls that will support the rock work along the walkway.

    In the area behind the concrete building more utility work is underway. A new concrete pad has been poured, assuming for equipment.

    In a few weeks this area should start to change as they reconfigure the tram stop so construction on the new parking structure can get underway.
    The Pinocchio lot will be the home to the new structure.

    Just past 1pm and the ticket booth queues are all full.
    The lines to enter Disneyland stretch beyond the Monorail beam and were moving slow.

    Across the Esplanade at Disney California Adventure the lines only had a handful of guests in them.
    So I opted to visit DCA first.
    Today was a Candy Cane day at DCA. Trolley Treats was packing up a batch for distribution when I walked by.

    Paradise Bay this afternoon. A lot of birds in the water today.
    Out on Paradise Pier it was crowded. To the left the overflow queue for Screamin.

    Next up used a FastPass for Small World Holiday. The line was a little backed up. Found the proper queue at 3:10pm

    Back in the station and disembarking at 3:40pm so about 30 minutes to use a FastPass and experience the attraction this afternoon.

    The backstage overflow walkway was open on Main Street due to the Parade.
    I opted to walk through the stores and by the parade. Snowmen treats

    At 4:30 there were no lines at the ticket booths and half were closed for the evening already.

    The Star Wars VR has some of its sign up. The people on the left were waiting to go in. It looked like they were conducting some sort of preview.

    I never really paid attention to the sign.. but found it odd that the Trams were on it and pointing across the street. Seems it is almost shorter to walk back through Downtown Disney to reach the trams than through the parking lots and around then through security.
    The Disneyland Hotel felt quiet this evening. It was just before 5pm.

    I was going through the Disneyland App and noticed a FastPass popped up for Buzz as being available at 7:50pm. It was 7:45 so grabbed it. Noticed the Standby wait was 50 minutes and the regular FastPass return time was 10:40. So MaxPass really saved a lot of time in this case.
    Buzz Lightyear was behind a curtain in the queue and out of service.

    The attraction paused for a minute or so in the last room so my score was inflated. It said I was #27 for the day at that point.
    I had nothing else on my agenda so decided to go find a spot for Believe in Holiday Magic and hope the winds would calm down. Main Street about 30 minutes before show time.

    5 minutes until show time. A balloon got loose and it was pretty convincing the show would be cancelled. Cast Members started to take down the ropes which was another indication that the cancellation was coming.

    Made my way over to Disney California Adventure. Seems they were unprepared for the crowd with only 4 lines open. Cast Members opened an additional two as I got closer.
