Arrived at a busy Mickey and Friends parking structure. The line was backed up onto Disneyland drive and the left turn from Ball was several cycles. This was just before 8am.
The security lines at 8:22am, took me over half an hour from when I saw the traffic on Ball until this point.
A wider picture of the security backup. For park opening it seems all check points should be open. There were less than half open.

Today marked Mickey's 89th Birthday. So as you entered you received a free button.
Along Main Street cast members had signs you could hold for pictures.
This picture on Main Street was 55 minutes after that first parking backup picture. So it was over an hour from Ball Road to Main Street USA.

As I walked to meet my ride to Los Angeles noticed several of these solar trash compactors on Harbor Blvd.
If you were curious nothing has happened to the Carousel Inn & Suites. Disney owns this property and it was to become the walkway from the Eastern Gateway. Now with that project no longer moving forward will be interesting to see what happens here. I read the plan was still to remove these buildings sooner rather than later.
