    When I arrived at the Disneyland Resort my car said it was 100 degrees in the Mickey and Friends Parking structure.
    The work on most of the floor of the structure has wrapped up. The new brickwork around the escalator areas.

    Next up a view of the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge construction from the top floor of the parking structure.
    The concrete building has some HVAC equipment on the roof but not a lot of other visible changes from this angle.

    I was surprised they had not moved any further on finishing the wall connecting the concrete building to the other wall. Looks about the same as last trip.
    The tents appear to be a break/lunch area for the construction teams. Beyond them is the entrance to Critter Country.

    The Summer of Heroes has one more week to go (through Sept 10th).
    The annual 1/2 Marathon is this weekend. Fences up on Disneyland Drive.

    The lower sign is relatively new. I had not walked this way in quite a while so not sure when it went up.
    They are really trying to cut down at guests parking in the Downtown Disney lot. Signs up directing Expo guests to the parking structure.
    New parking rates and policies went into effect at Downtown Disney since my last visit.

    I took a quick lap through the main area of the Expo. Cigna had the first booth. The rest of the Expo looked about the same as usual so I did not take a lot of pictures.

    Since it is a holiday weekend peak pricing is in effect. $124 for a one day one park ticket.
    The Summer of Heroes sign at the entrance to Disney California Adventure is gone and the Halloween sign is starting to be installed.

    After a stop at guest relations due to Max Pass issues time to head into the park. (Seems the system did not think I was in the park and they could not get it to work. So they ended up giving me a couple multiple experience passes good for anything anytime to make up for it).
    If you were curious what they looked like..
    It was good on just about any attraction in either park, no need for it to be a FastPass attraction.

    Disney California Adventure Wait times at 3:13pm
    At 3:15pm you could get Radiator Springs Racers FastPasses for 2 hours away. I cannot remember the last time I saw that. Usually if there are any they are for after dark by this time. Most days they are long gone though.
    The poles on the right side of Route 66 in Cars Land are up and ready for Halloween decorations.

    All was quiet at the Cozy Cone this afternoon. With the 100+ degree weather the meet and greet was moved to a spot in the shade on Cross Street.
    Lizzie has decorated for Haul-O-Ween already. The rest of the residents will be in the coming days. HalloweenTime kicks off Sept 15th at the Disneyland Resort.

    Guardians of the Galaxy had the longest wait in the park this afternoon. But you could still pick up FastPasses for 2 hours away. 70 min in the heat or come back in 2 hours and go straight inside.

    I opted to go for a ride on the Disneyland Railroad since the line was short (I was able to board the first train that showed up).

    Looked at my watch and realized only had 15 minutes until the last cruise of the Mark Twain left. So started to head that direction.

    When I entered Disneyland my MaxPass started to work again. so I booked some FastPasses. I had a FastPass for Buzz Lightyear but it went down during my window so it became a Multiple Experience pass for Disneyland only and restricted to FastPass attractions (unlike the other one I received).

    A queue set up for wheelchairs at Indiana Jones. This may have been around for a while but with the normal crowds I did not notice it. Today with the thin crowd it stood out to me.
    Speaking of standing out.. this speaker along the Big Thunder Trail. Also interesting it points to the water.

    A great view of the rock work in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge right now since no other buildings started to go up yet.
    On the right hand side the wire mesh is starting to be installed.

    Toad Hall as the sun was starting to sset.
    Even with the 90 degree weather and mild crowd Peter Pan had a posted wait of 40 minutes.
    I used one of my multiple Experience FastPasses and it took my only 12 minutes.

    Around the corner Alice had a 30 minute wait posted. I used my second FastPass and was onboard in only a couple minutes.

    The crowds were waiting for the second Soundsational of the day, since there is no nighttime parade there is a 7pm Soundsational on weekends.
    Only a 10 minutes wait for the Matterhorn this evening and 5 minute return time for FastPass. (It was 7:15 when I took this picture).

    Thanks to the attraction stopping for a minute in a perfect spot I set a new personal best.. not sure it should count though. My score ended up being 1,444,700 which was good enough to land me at #7 on the list for the day.

    I exited Pirates about 5 minutes before Fantasmic was to start. Decided to try my luck and found a good stand by view.

    As soon as Fantasmic ended I made my way quickly to Main Street arriving as Julie Andrews wrapped up her introduction so I stopped to enjoy Remember Dreams Come True from near the Cinema to close out my evening.
