    Let us start off with a couple video clips showing the Star Wars Themed Land construction from the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure.
    The large show building just keeps growing. It is nearly filling its footprint now.
    On the left is the Millennium Falcon show building. The steel appears to have spanned the width now and is working on coming toward us.

    Renovation work continues at the Grand Californian. The crane in the foreground is for Splitsville.
    The Pinocchio lot is empty right now but buses for Grad Nite are arriving. This is the final weekend for Grad Nite.

    To celebrate the opening of Cars 3 in theaters buttons were available at both parks today as you entered.
    This past week the re-launched DCA turned 5 years old.. this includes Buena Vista Street and Cars Land. Also World of Color turned 7.

    Wait times at 1:40pm. A little hard to read but Guardians is at 75 min tying Grizzly River Run and Radiator Springs Racers for the longest posted waits.
    The Cars Land Entrance is out from behind walls. In addition to including Cruz Ramirez the planter has been removed so you can go right up to the sign.

    Lightning was at the Cozy Cone, no sign of Cruz this pass through Cars Land.

    Adventureland started a series of renovation projects last week to try and ease congestion. South Seas Traders and Indiana Jones Outpost have closed.
    Some of the merchandise from those two shops is now in Adventureland Bazaar.
    Walls are up in front of the closed locations. They will be come indoor seating for Bengal BBQ and Tropical Imports will relocate too.

    Bengal BBQ is open during the work, but there is no seating now. The old seating area is being removed and will be an expanded walkway.

    The Treehouse has survived the renovation work. It is permanently closed off now, but still standing. As of my last visit to Tokyo that one was still open so if you want to climb into the tree house head to Japan.

    The canoe dock is looking close to complete. They return the 29th along with the other water craft.

    The big change is the new view as you head toward the back of the island. This is looking up river from the east (Frontierland) side. You can see the new trestle for the Disneyland Railroad.

    The Big Thunder Trail reopened since my last visit. Here are some pictures from my first walk through heading from Frontierland to Fantasyland.
    The pond has returned and looks the same, the water looks a little milky though.
    The jumping fish are there but I never saw them move.

    You can see the top of the trestle for the Disneyland Railroad that spans the entranceway.
    Further up the trail near where the Big Thunder Ranch entrance used to be there is now a large rock formation.

    Passed the balloon vendor on the way out and looks like the pirate ones are lingering a bit compared to the others. There seem to be a lot more of them in the bundle (assuming they all started fairly even).

    Around 9:11 the parade started to roll again. So about a 7 minute delay.

    Way too dark and I did not have time to stop and try a longer exposure shot.. but wanted to say how nice it was to have the Big Thunder Trail open again.

    A new FastPass scanner at Big Thunder was visible and on. Word on the internet is they will start to use them this coming week. (No MaxPass yet but using the scanners for the traditional FastPass guests).
    A little dark, but it was nice to be able to walk around the Rivers of America and find a spot for Remember with no problem. Many guests were sitting down along the rivers edge.

    Now a series of cell phone pictures of the show (since I was using the SLR for the video). The projections were more clear and sharp than the previous ones and better in person than the phone captured.
