  • Page Number: 1
Hero Up banner on the exit ramp of the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure.
A couple video clips of the Star Wars Themed Land Construction from the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure.
  • Page Number: 2
Starting on the left/north of the site and working our way to the right.
Steel is up on the far side of the Millennium Falcon attraction show building.
The other large show building for the battle escape attraction continues to add more steel.
  • Page Number: 3
More of the roof is going on.
  • Page Number: 4
The wood forms are slowly being removed from around the new concrete structure on this side of the building.
On the right more forms for walls are going up as the building continues to spread.
  • Page Number: 5
Toward Critter Country they are back filling behind the retaining wall at the entrance walkway.
Back to the Millennium Falcon building.
  • Page Number: 6
    A closer look.
  • Page Number: 7
A gap between the two buildings.
Looking closer at the gap. On the left you can see stairs for the Millennium Falcon attraction building.. they help to give a sense of scale.
  • Page Number: 8
The doors and trees are still laying on the far berm.
A closer look at the back fill project behind the Hungry Bear.
Notice the crane in the distance.. that is along the rivers edge for landscaping work.
  • Page Number: 9
    A closer look.
A closer look at the exterior wall support and edge of the roof taking shape.
  • Page Number: 10
More duct work and other materials on the roof.
The left side has had concrete poured.. the middle is prepped and the right is still being installed.
  • Page Number: 11
Panning to the right a bit you can see crews putting the metal down on top of the steel beams for the roof.
A concrete pumper working on foundation work for another building in front of this one.
A look at the second floor.
  • Page Number: 12
On the right notice what looks to be a door.
Back to the back fill project.
  • Page Number: 13
The steel staging area is looking rather bare this afternoon. Wonder if that means this section of the building is going up soon.. or just in between deliveries.
  • Page Number: 14
A little hard to see but a new temporary road has been set up on the graded area running through the middle of the site. There are large mats/plates forming the road.
Here you can see it a little better. Guessing it is to be used to minimize dirt clouds as the buildings continue to take shape. Wonder if that is approximately the main walkway.
  • Page Number: 15
Cross member supports for the building to give it more strength.
Each visit it is harder to see through the building.
A look at the materials on the roof.
  • Page Number: 16
A fence up around the marina/pump area. Guessing that means they are getting closer to making that operational.
Trees and rocks still staged around the area between the two tunnels.
  • Page Number: 17
Here you can see the dirt level on the right is now up to the top of the concrete along the train path. The trestle looks done too. Rails will be installed soon.
This walkway tunnel is larger than you may think. Later on I will have pictures of that crane on the other side. I am assuming it drove through that tunnel to get into position.
  • Page Number: 18
Work continues on the Grand Californian in the distance. The other crane is for Splitsville.
  • Page Number: 19

They still seem to be having issues with the LCD screens at the ticket booths. The one on the right is a traditional sign over top of the screen box.
    The pricing for today.
I would have liked to have seen two sided banners with the ones facing Disneyland advertising something over there. Having Hero Up everywhere looks awkward. Also of note the background loop has been modified.
  • Page Number: 26
First stop today, Disney California Adventure.
  • Page Number: 27
    Trolley Treats
Some Disney California Adventure wait times as of 1:47. Note Toy Story is now as long as Radiator Springs Racers thanks to FastPass.
  • Page Number: 28
More wait times. Note Guardians of the Galaxy at 90 minutes and all FastPasses are gone.
The Racers still had FastPasses but they were in the last hour (really hard to see in this picture)

The FastPass distribution area did not change at all. (All tickets were gone for today already).
  • Page Number: 43
This queue was to meet Groot.
  • Page Number: 44
The windows of the gift shop are now covered/closed off. They appear to be delivery bays in the new exterior. So no more seasonal displays.
The benches seem a little odd now to be looking at a wall basically. If they were flipped around you would be looking at the garden/queue for Guardians.
  • Page Number: 45
    looking at the area.

The other stand that originally was the Coke place is called the Cosmic Canteen

  • Page Number: 59
    Next stop Disneyland.
40th Anniversary Space Mountain shirt on display outside Disneyana (which seemed odd).
Inside they still had plenty of the Fantasmic shirts from last month. Seems odd to have a shirt saying you were there for a show that was not that day.

    Disneyland Wait Times at 3:19pm
    Passing by Big Thunder..
  • Page Number: 61
The crane is still parked just past the exit to Big Thunder so now view of the trail today. But in the new guide maps the trail is not listed as closed.. so the opening is close. (at the end I will have some pictures of the map).
The crane in the distance is Splitsville
    Working on the island again.
  • Page Number: 62
Several cranes in view when you look this way. The one on the left is for the battle escape show building. Straight back is the millennium falcon building. Nearest the Mark Twain is the Big Thunder trail one.
Parked on the far bank is another crane this one doing tree placement. This is the one we saw from the structure.
