  • Page Number: 5
Rebar reaching skyward from the holes now.

Back to the walls and foundation work
This structure is a temporary support for the second floor that will be constructed.

  • Page Number: 12
A crew is working on the new bridge.
  • Page Number: 13
A better view of the new rocks that have gone up blocking the pipe view.
Here you can get a better glimpse of the new bridge.
    A closer look.
  • Page Number: 14
They are enclosing the new backstage support building nearest Toon Town.
In the foreground you can just barely make out the forms for the foundation work of the second attraction building for Star Wars Land. This past week some news helicopter footage showing the site showed a the extensive foundation work.
  • Page Number: 15
All appears quiet on the far berm from this angle.
  • Page Number: 16
The new backstage building in the cast member parking lot looks complete.
This is the area to the left of the circular structure.
  • Page Number: 17

  • Page Number: 22
    Rigging up another beam.
One last look before moving on.
  • Page Number: 23
The billboard at the tram stop has not been updated with the new end date. It still says June. The parade has been extended into August.
Timing... a tram passing our tram right as we are by the new backstage gate.
Looking back at the completed gate.
  • Page Number: 24
Arriving at the parks. The annual Eggstravaganza Easter Egg hunt is underway. There are 36 eggs.. 12 in Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. spotted my first one as soon as I exited the tram.
    A closer look at Mickey.
Maps are available at several locations. The redemption center for Downtown Disney is World of Disney.
  • Page Number: 25
Here is the redemption location in the middle of World of Disney. you bring your completed map back here and pick a prize.
Here are the prizes this year, same ones for all three quests. Maps are $5.99. I did not see a Downtown Disney map on display so no picture of it to share.
While walking out of the store spotted the Donald egg.
  • Page Number: 26
Spotted Minnie on my way to the parks.. three eggs in my first few minutes :) I am going to a separate series of posts on the eggs so will only include a couple throughout this picture set.

A Cast Member in front of the Five and Dime on Buena Vista Street showcasing the DCA Egg-Stravaganza
  • Page Number: 27
A look at the DCA Map for this year. The way it works is you purchase the map and get a set of stickers. You are supposed to go around the park, find the eggs and identify which character is in each location by putting that sticker there. Once completed you bring it to a redemption location and get your prize.
Spring treats in the window of Trolley Treats
Mickey was greeting guests near the fountain this afternoon.

Some DCA wait times at 1:52pm. The sign has not been updated to indicate Toy Story has FastPass now (and a longer wait thanks to it).
Nightmare Before Christmas in the window on the Pier. So have we moved to Halloween already? Does not seem like summer merchandise to me.
In line to pick up a Toy Story FastPass. Surprised there is no sign indicating return times anywhere near the distribution point. Guess that is the trend (same is true for Star Tours and Buzz over at Disneyland.. the signs are by the attraction and not the machines).
  • Page Number: 29
    The machine.
    My ticket.
  • Page Number: 30
At the attraction the standby wait is posted at 45 only. Half the line board, the app said 80.

A duck and ducklings out for a walk in the hub.
  • Page Number: 59
Out at the Big Thunder Trail some fence has been moved so you can see a little more clearly into the new walkway. Guessing it was moved so they can work on the new walkway.
  • Page Number: 60
Here you can see the fencing is further down, closer to Fantasyland.
Looking through the fence. Thought maybe we would see some forms for the walkway but not yet..
A tree has been brought in and is waiting to be planted.

  • Page Number: 65
    The left/west shore.
Looking at the river bend you can see the keel boat has returned and is awaiting placement.
Note sure what this structure is blocking my view. Guessing something for the canoe dock.
  • Page Number: 66
The the left a new tree and the back of the wall along the walkway.
A wider view showing the structure that partially blocks the view. On the left what looks to be stairs, guessing the exit for the canoes.

  • Page Number: 67
Another view of the new bridge from a lower vantage point.
The shoreline from near ground level.

The sun was setting and the World of Color platforms were up for some work before the show tonight.
The Cove Bar queue switchbacks were filling up.
  • Page Number: 87
With the new Toy Story FastPass they have not integrated the parks into one system. That means you can no longer have a FastPass at each park. Here is what happened why I scanned my card at Big Thunder earlier. It told me I had a Toy Story one.
Time to use my Toy Story FastPass
A posted wait of 90 min now, app said 80.
