  • Page Number: 1
A quick video clip taking a look around the Star Wars construction site from the Mickey and Friends parking structure.
An overview of the site this afternoon
The mound of dirt. This visit appears to have grown slightly with some new dirt dumped on top.
  • Page Number: 2
The retaining wall on the far side of the site nearest Toontown has continued to take shape.
Not much visible change near the other wall this visit.
In the distance you can see another wall taking shape as they excavate dirt from the former Skyway hill.
  • Page Number: 3
What appears to be the backstage marina for Fantasmic is taking shape. As well as more concrete for retaining walls, the foundation for the rock work and the train path.
On the right you can see the footers for more wall taking shape.
A section of wall on the bend in the River as I continue to pan toward Critter Country.
  • Page Number: 4
A wider look of the near lot. Utility work in the foreground and the pit continues to grow on the left.
A closer look at the conduit and pipes awaiting installation.
Notice the depth of the hole now based on the top of the shovel that is in it.
  • Page Number: 5
A closer look at the wall on the far side.
Rebar waiting to be used on walls. Looks like another one is taking shape closer to Fantasyland in the background. You can see the scaffolding sticking up.
  • Page Number: 6
The tunnel/bridge looks about the same from this angle as last visit.
Concrete being poured in the area.
  • Page Number: 7
Continuing to pan to the right. Notice the size of the walls. Use the workers as reference.
The walls have some interesting shapes. Would be really interesting to see some blue prints as to how these all fit together. From this angle and distance it is really hard to piece it together.
  • Page Number: 8
A closer look at the work on the right of the site.
  • Page Number: 9
  • Page Number: 10
    A closer look toward Toontown.
  • Page Number: 11
Here you can see the footers for another section of wall taking shape. Notice the equipment in the area between the walls.
  • Page Number: 12
Rebar staged nearest the parking structure area.
    A wider shot.
Guessing this is the backstage marina.. or some other space inside the rock work.
  • Page Number: 13
    Looking toward Critter Country
Where the train comes out near the Hungry Bear.
  • Page Number: 14
A different angle of the bridge/tunnel.
A closer look where the new walkway will be. Hard to make out anything yet from this distance/angle.
Dirt was being brought in between the walls.
  • Page Number: 15
A wide shot of the site.
Another look at the excavation work for what I am assuming is a show building.
  • Page Number: 16
Some rocks out on the island. Not sure if those are new, relocated, or just able to see them.
  • Page Number: 17
Tower of Terror signage this year at the tram stop vs Halloween Time.
Some work in the Pinocchio lot. The hedge has been removed and looks like an extra lane has been added to the tram area.
Guessing this is just a staging area for the equipment since it is blocked off with cones vs a construction fence.
  • Page Number: 18
Here you can see the current tramway, which is down to one lane with asphalt on the second second lane and then the new third lane beyond the fences.
    From ground level.
For reference what the hedges looked like before. They are still there on the second half of the stop (past the walkway).
  • Page Number: 19
A closer look at the billboards.
  • Page Number: 20
APDays are back. Signs and flyers at the tram stop.
Some replanting going on along the tramway.
  • Page Number: 21
Halloween Time decorations along the tramway.
More landscaping work going on. A lot of flags and markers along the tramway.
    More Halloween Time decorations
  • Page Number: 22
Almost the entire length on the park side it appears work is going on. They cleaned out all the ground cover.
  • Page Number: 23
The other side looks the same still. Looks like some trees have been removed though.
The World of Disney entrance closest to Starbucks is covered.
La Brea Bakery. Tower of Terror banners on the light poles.
  • Page Number: 24
A closer look at the banners.
There area also Halloween Time banners.
The Diamond Days signage is gone.
  • Page Number: 25
    The closures for today.
DCA banners are back in the Esplanade. Too bad they did not go with HalloweenTime ones.
The diamond anniversary decorations on the DCA entrance are gone.
  • Page Number: 26
Same at Disneyland with Halloween now up.
  • Page Number: 27
The floral Mickey is now diamondless. No fall/halloween look this year on Mickey. But around him there is orange.
Only one car on the train this afternoon.
  • Page Number: 28
Main Street has a lot of orange now. The blue is finally gone.
A new Mickey in his Halloween costume. They have rolled out a new look for Mickey and Minnie, the same one that debuted with the opening of Shanghai Disneyland and has been seen at WDW too.
  • Page Number: 29
Minnie with her new look and standard Halloween costume.
  • Page Number: 30

Most of Center Street is now scaffolding free.
  • Page Number: 33
    Crystal Arts is covered now.
  • Page Number: 34
Sleeping Beauty Castle has most of the anniversary overlay removed. Guessing the diamond turrets will remain until they swap it out for snow next month.
A check of the wait times at 2:19pm. Ghost Galaxy under an hour. Haunted Mansion Holiday was the longest wait in the park.
    Tom Sawyer Island
  • Page Number: 35
Not a lot of visible progress on the Columbia
Haunted Mansion Holiday was down when I first walked up but then reopened.
  • Page Number: 36
Star Wars construction as you walk through Critter Country. You can clearly see the new wall that is along the Rivers of America bank.
Looking through the fence to give a better perspective of distance and where the wall is.
  • Page Number: 37
The conduit pile does not really appear to be shrinking.
The tarp up near the new walkway now his a forest look on it.
  • Page Number: 38
For Halloween Time throughout the park they are selling Poison Apple mugs with a variety of offerings inside. The Hungry Bear has soft drinks.

The Disneyland band still wearing blue.
Walls up across from Big Thunder and the River side, assuming Halloween Party storage as they have done for several years.
Approaching the end of the Big Thunder Trail.
  • Page Number: 41
You can see the bridge from in the park and start to get a feel for how the walkway will line up. Assuming the train will pass over that, wonder if the train will be visible from here or if they are going to enclose it.
Looks like they have started to add elements to the wall so they can work on the rock work. Would be great to see this part finished to the point they can reopen the walkway sooner rather than later.
  • Page Number: 42
It appears the utility work has wrapped up and the trenches filled in.

  • Page Number: 68
    The fence obstructs the view.
I was in the FastPass line and could not really stop for pictures, plus I was far away.
Speaking of FastPass they reconfigured the queue to have the merge point in the back. This cut out some queue space for the standby line.
