  • Page Number: 1
An over view of the Star Wars Themed Land construction at Disneyland.
Here is a video look around the site.
A pan from the left(North) end of the site to the right (South). The large mound of dirt is shrinking each visit.
  • Page Number: 2
The wall nearest Fantasyland has had a coating applied to it. Guessing that may be where the dirt level will be?
A lot of equipment and material in the center of the site.
The walls along the Big Thunder trail have been coated too and are being extended.
  • Page Number: 3
  • Page Number: 4
A lot of activity toward Critter Country this visit.
A closer look toward the old backstage tunnel. Notice the wall looks like it is being extended in that direction more. You can make some re-bar. Also some steel i-beams have been inserted back there.
  • Page Number: 5
Interesting some columns on the wall structure and looks like dirt is being put in between the wall and columns.
Out on the island looks like my guess that that concrete was for a building was wrong. It appears to be a retaining wall for the tip of the island. They were bringing in dirt and compacting it around the wall.
  • Page Number: 6
More utility work going on as they were re-positioning retaining walls.
In the nearest space more utility work is underway, you could see conduit through the fence.
A closer look at the far side of the site where they are stalling large steel i-beams. They bore a hole then lower the beam in and fill the hole with concrete. Guessing this will be the support steel for rockwork.
  • Page Number: 7
On the left you can see a concrete pumper filling a hole and the boring machine working on the next one.
Another look at the area closest to the garage. They have a pile of garbage accumulating in the clearing. Nothing else visible from this angle.
In the center of the site a lot of footers taking shape for the retaining walls for the river, rock work and the backstage Fantasmic marina.
  • Page Number: 8
To help with the scale of the retaining wall notice the workers on the left.
A wider shot of the area where the i-beams are going in.
  • Page Number: 9
Most of the pipes that were staged here are now installed. More i-beams are on site now.
A closer look at the beams.
  • Page Number: 10
They are digging a large trench between the dirt mounds. Notice the bulldozer that is in it on the right.
Looks like the new curve of the river is taking shape on the right in this shot. Between the outhouse and forms.
  • Page Number: 11
Still hard to make out where the river will be from this angle over near Critter Country.
A better picture showing the depth of the trench notice the top of the cab in the center of the shot.
A closer look at what appears to be the curve of the river with the forms on the left and outhouse on the right.
