  • Page Number: 1
An overview of the Star Wars site from the Parking Structure.
A couple of shaky video clips taking a look around the Star Wars site.
    Looking toward Critter County.
  • Page Number: 2
Off to the far right of the site more asphalt waiting to be hauled away.
A wide view of the site. Notice the new fence in the foreground going up along Disneyland Drive.
A wall is taking shape on the far side of the site, near Fantasyland.
  • Page Number: 3
The mound is where the Skyway building once stood.
Another wall is taking shape along the former Big Thunder Trail.
A closer look at the far wall. a crew is working on the rebar that will be in the wall.
  • Page Number: 4
Looks like a machine to dig holes for the steel beams is now onsite (on the left in this picture).
  • Page Number: 5
Temporary retaining walls as more pipes and conduits are laid.
A small structure taking shape. Guessing it is one of the two utility buildings that there are permits for.
  • Page Number: 6
Here you can see the conduit coming in from the left into the junction/access box.
More pipes and conduit waiting to be installed. In the background more footers being set up to extend the wall. Guessing it will work its way to connect to the wall by the gate to Fantasyland.
  • Page Number: 7
Back to the fence along Disneyland Drive. Here is a better view of it. Guessing this means the trees on the other side will be removed to free up more space backstage.
Pipes are onsite waiting to be installed. Assuming there is a trench along the fence line where the new road will be going and these will be buried there. But you cannot really see from this angle.
    A closer look.
  • Page Number: 8
Today they were bringing dirt from near the mound over to the area closer to the structure.
A lot of conduit and piping is run to this area near the center of the site.
  • Page Number: 9
Another look at the new building.
A better view of where they are bringing the dirt into.
    Off loading dirt.
  • Page Number: 10
No visible changes from this distance/angle on the skyway location.
Concrete was being poured somewhere behind Critter Country. A truck leaving the site.
  • Page Number: 11
Notice in the foreground the backstage gate is open.
A final shot of the dirt mound before moving on.
  • Page Number: 12
From the tram, they are installing a new fence right along the tram route. The poles are installed so far. Looks like this driveway will be closed off.
Work going on along the area that parallels the tramway.
Guessing this is for conduit work, so they are laying it right along the fence. Assuming the new backstage road will be there.
  • Page Number: 13
I could see the concrete truck through the fence but could not tell what they were working on.
Only two attractions listed as closed today.
It is peak time. $119 for one day one park right now.
  • Page Number: 14

Hmm.. this is the back of the line for World of Color Fastpasses for the second show. Seems to be a popular ticket this afternoon... or maybe these guests think they are in line for Grizzly River Run.
I had a request for some pictures of the old mine equipment around GRR. As I walked by I snapped a few of what can be seen from the main walkway.

  • Page Number: 30
Only noticed one sign in the lobby for the preview. Everything else looked the same.
The preshow room appeared untouched. The theater was open to go and sit down and wait for the next show. I had about 5 minutes to wait. Inside they were projecting a forest on the screens above the doors and had a 3D placeholder on the screen for the film until it started.

It was about a 5 minute stream of dancers. Bringing up the back were photographers and parents.
Here are a couple video clips of Dance the Magic passing by.

    Scaffolding up around the cabin.
More up around the other structures.
