Starting off this visit (like all the other recent ones) at the Mickey and Friends parking structure checking out the Star Wars construction. A pan from the left to right starting at the large dirt mountain that was created.
As we work our way across the area in the foreground was being worked on, most trucks were inactive this afternoon.
  • Page Number: 2
From this angle really hard to tell what is going on.
  • Page Number: 3
A little hard to tell but there is quite a bit of elevation change going on out there with some paths carved.
A lone bulldozer moving through the river bed.
  • Page Number: 4
To the far right the clearing goes beyond the Pooh show building, almost to the emergency gate. So all the old buildings were removed that paralleled the tramway.
Back to the far left of the site. Here you can see how the project stops short of the backstage road that several of the fireworks platforms are along.
Back to the center of the project. Two notes here. One the Skyway building is still standing and two the rock archway and tree are gone. Hopefully they were re-located.
  • Page Number: 5
Equipment at work on the area just past Critter Country.
  • Page Number: 6
An ambulance parked along the fence.
Hard to tell but looks like the river will start to turn just past the canoes.
Hard to tell how the tip of the island will look. Right now you can see dirt was removed and that is about it.
  • Page Number: 7
A lone worker crossing the site. It helps with scale.
He stopped to look at something.
Notice how far down they have graded compared to where the walkway height used to be. Use the cart to help with scale.
  • Page Number: 8
    Random Matterhorn picture
No visible progress on the Skyway building from here.
  • Page Number: 9
Another look at the center of the project. A lot is marked off but hard to make heads or tails of it from here.
Tomorrowland and beyond is visible from this angle.
  • Page Number: 10
A wide shot of the area.
  • Page Number: 11
Looking toward the Disneyland Hotel. Within 5 years this view will change with another hotel between here and ESPN it was reported this last week.
Another look toward Critter Country from the edge of the structure. Here you can see the leveled area that is being graded. This is parallel to the tramway and runs almost to the emergency gate.
  • Page Number: 12
Notice the bulldozer is going down, helps to give a sense for how deep.
Looks like a meeting on the dirt mountain overlooking the site.
One more look toward the Winnie the Pooh building. Notice the fence lines.
  • Page Number: 13
A quick cell phone video before moving on of the site.
The closed attraction list for the day was no overly accurate. The treehouse was open and the swings are still closed.

Panning right to left across the site. Here you can see how they have dug down. Wonder if this is to help accommodate the train and keep its path level and not such a big dip to go beneath like Toontown? Or if is is just pre-work before it gets built back up.

It appears the area at the bottom of the back stairs of the Hungry Bear has been cleared.
    A last look up river.
  • Page Number: 51
Made my way up to the Hungry Bear and the one clear vantage point is now walled up. Guessing because the stairs are no longer usable.
So that means only some poor views through the mesh are available.

Elsa traveled solo down the parade route on the balcony (Olaf was on the back of the float as usual).
Due to the wind Disneyland Forever was cancelled. So they ran alternate version, which is the finale Live the Magic song with projections, lights and lasers, just as you would see in the regular show minus the fireworks.
