    We arrived at the Disneyland Resort around 8am, an hour before opening. Parking lines were only a couple of cars at each booth.

    Work continues in the Pinocchio lot, even on a Saturday morning there was a crew out there.
    Tents to support the Avengers Half Marathon activities.
    Crossing Magic Way which was still closed due to the race earlier this morning that was just wrapping up.

    Found a spot to wait for the park opening in a few minutes.

    Interesting a Red Car pulled up announcing they had an honorary mayor on board. Dropped the family off then returned to the front of the park. The family melted into the crowd from what I could see.

    The walkway is now blocked off under the bridge. It is a piping project underway.
    On the bridge you can see pipes that are re-routed for the work.

    Star Wars is taking over Tomorrowland starting Monday the 16th in the form of Season of the Force.
    The north side is the dark side as you as.. the south side has different banners. Also notice all the new speakers along the track.

    The FastPass line for Star Tours stretched back toward Tomorrowland Terrace. I asked a cast member and no soft opening of the new film so no one knew why the big rush.
    Tomorrowland Terrace has a new name, Galactic Grill. Here is a look at the new Breakfast menu for Season of the Force.

    The stage is still under wraps. It will not open until December.
    The Launch Bay is ready to go but no soft opening today.. it will open Monday.

    Hyperspace Mountain was in a soft opening phase this morning and it was open most of the day from what I could see. No FastPasses so the line moved but it was still well over an hour most of the day. All who experienced it that talked to me had extremely favorable reviews.
    Path of the Jedi has taken over the Tomorrowland Theatre. It was also open today. I will double back to check it out later.

    Time for the film. It was about 10 minutes long featuring clips from all 7 Star Wars films. It is basically a cliff notes version of the Star Wars universe.
