After taking the scenic tour of the perimeter of the Disneyland Resort I was eventually directed into a spot at the far side of the Bambi parking lot (this is the cast member lot off of Katella). In this picture the Toy Story lot is over those trees. The Disneyland Resort is to the right of the convention center in the distance.
    Almost to the bus.
  • Page Number: 2
There were plenty of buses and it was only a couple of minutes from when I finally reached the bus till I was at the security checkpoint. But unfortunately it took over 30 minutes from when I exited the freeway until I got to the bus.
Plenty of signs warning you that the lockers at Disneyland are unavailable.
The information kiosk was open with park maps, no time schedules though.
  • Page Number: 3
This morning was a media event and throughout the day they were recording various events so these signs were up.
Since my last visit ticket prices have gone up. Here are the current rates.
In the Esplanade they were cleaning up from the morning media event.
  • Page Number: 4
Since the park opened at 6am today no early morning and due to the closing at 6am tomorrow no early morning then either.

This is the camera that was broadcasting the live stream (there were several at Disneyland and DCA for the event).
A photo backdrop. Not sure if it was for the media or for something in the evening. I saw no characters in front of it the several times I walked by.
A photo op in Town Square with clocks and a banner (same as the last 24 hour event, just a new banner)
  • Page Number: 8
Main Street was decked out for the summer with its traditional red, white, and blue. There were a lot of guests but it was not overly crowded.
The lockers are closed as they start to work on a new walkway backstage to help with the crowds on Main Street.
  • Page Number: 9
A better picture of the patriotic overlay on Main Street.
For the 24hr event there were quite a few food offerings. The Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor featured this Black and White Ice Cream Sandwich.

My first check of the lineboard today. The waits around 1:23pm. Looked to be summer busy.

    Another media location.
Darth Vader pop corn buckets were available from the cart in Tomorrowland.
I know this is a bad picture.. but they had a sign of the pop corn bucket and drink for $15.75. It seemed like it was a special deal. It was not, that is the same price if you purchased them individually.
  • Page Number: 15
No Captain EO showings today. Instead Marvel has taken over with movie screenings.
The show times for the day. They were showing standard versions of the films, no 3D.

These looked slightly brighter to me, maybe some painting going on? Or just the light/my memory..
Most of the ground cover has died, guess they turned off the sprinkler system when they closed the subs.

Mickey and the Magical Map has returned.
Surprised they have just a regular show schedule today. Nothing after dark or over night.
  • Page Number: 24
Guess they decided a random promotion sign was more helpful than what time Toontown closed for fireworks.
The fountains are out from behind walls. This one is missing Roger though.

A closer look at the picture.
  • Page Number: 48
The person next to me ordered one.. so here is a picture of what it actually looked like.
Noticed the fries at Taste Pilots were skinnier than they have been. More on par with say McDonalds size. They tasted better to me too. Still not as good as the old shoe string fries at Award Wieners or even the waffle fries at Taste Pilots but a step up from what they had been serving.
Near the line board a sign listing the special food offerings for the day.

I finally got around to reading the paper I was given when I entered the parking lot. I thought it was to explain the crowd, but instead it was to say where I was parking.
