From the Mickey and Friends Garage you can just barely make out the Mark Twain through the trees.
    Grad Nite season is underway..
They were swapping out the banners along Disneyland Drive with D23 Expo ones. These are the old ones, the work crew was still way down the street by the entrance and I did not get a picture of the banners this trip.

Not many buses yet. When I left this area was full.
At the Downtown Disney stop the new van stop looks done, but was not in use this afternoon (it was when I left though)
The sign has not been updated.

Had to stop by the ticket booth to renew my annual pass. Current pricing if anyone was interested. The Premiere Pass is unlisted, it comes out to $876.60 after tax if you were interested.
Nice to see the Magical posters up right away this season.

A look up Main Street USA. Also thought it was interesting the chain was not up leading to the plaque/flag pole

Some filming going on at the pop corn stand.
The skyline in Frontierland has returned to normal. The large crane is gone meaning the track installation is complete so now they should be moving on to the painting.

The canoes were not in operation today, guess this was classified a slow day.
Critter Country had a fair number of guests moving about.
  • Page Number: 13
The ducklings are getting large along the Rivers of America.
Curious why the extension was just put on the back of the Mark Twain and not the sides.. it just jumped out to me today.
  • Page Number: 14
Still sad to look out in the wilderness and see backstage and the parking structure. Not very good show at all. Wonder how many years before it fills in again.
The wood is still stacked by the Big Thunder station.
Next stop the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree.
  • Page Number: 15
Spotted this slogan/backdrop that was up. Guessing left from an event with the Disney Dreamers Academy.

    Walked through the Mad Hatter.
All the painting in the Small World Mall looks complete.
  • Page Number: 17
Still no signage for the Magicl Map. There was a cast member positioned by the wall to answer questions since you could hear snippets of the show as they rehearse/tweak the sound system.
You really could not see anything though and the sound was in pieces.
  • Page Number: 18
    Still no Goofy Water...
But Goofy was out in the park.
  • Page Number: 19
Thought this was funny.. I was trying to take a picture of the control booth with the snow man in the window and somehow managed to time it perfectly to get a bob sled in the way!
Look who is controlling the Matterhorn.
The subs were sailing again today.
  • Page Number: 20

Thought maybe this display would be updated.
  • Page Number: 23
Thought this was poor. The ticket collection that was on loan from Tony Baxter has been removed and nothing has taken its place. Seems they could have figured something out or taken the display case out or something.
    Over to DCA.
The Kodak signage here has been removed.
  • Page Number: 24
    Random cameras.
    Some Tea Party merchandise
Plenty of signs telling you attractions will be closed prior to park closing. But no indication of what that means. I am assuming this is for the Grad Nite kickoff.
  • Page Number: 25
The Big Top Toys window has been tweaked. The cut outs have been replaced with real stuffed animals. Slightly better but still no where near as nice as the original window the Imagineers had.
    Monsters University merchandise.

Chip and Dale out on Buena Vista Street
More signs as you head to the Backlot.
  • Page Number: 27
    A couple extra smoothies.
Thought it was interesting the last couple of times I stopped by the Performing Arts showcase on the backlot they featured handbell groups. Are they becoming that widespread now? This one was a middle school from Arizona.
A very brief clip of the Kyrene Middle School Scorpion Handbells from Tempe Arizona playing a song we all know..
  • Page Number: 28
Someone asked what they did with the truck since they put the Monsters University merchandise kiosk where it used to be.. well they moved it up on the sidewalk and down a little.
    The merchandise area.
  • Page Number: 29
No visible signs of preparations for the Meet and Greet yet.
Tower was still mild at 40 min.. with Grad Nite expect that to climb to crazy waits later in the night.
Over in Cars Land they did some pavement work, re-oiled, and repainted Route 66.
  • Page Number: 30
I read online the issue was the pavement was sinking a bit on the sides so here you can see the right side was build up. It really does not blend that well.
Another shot, you can see the line on the left for what was changed.
  • Page Number: 31

Kodak has been removed from the picture spot sign.
One more Route 66 ground picture.. last one (I promise).
  • Page Number: 41
Went for a ride on Maters. The new coating seems to be holding up so far in most spots.
Thought this was funny that they needed a red out of service band on it.. with no trailer seems obvious it is not in use.
  • Page Number: 42
    Bugs is closed today.
The Kodak signage here is gone too.

The check in booth. You could get a wristband if you had your Annual Pass and Glow Ears and it was good for reserved viewing of Magical and then the second Fantasmic.

  • Page Number: 50
The Mark Twain making its pass
Made it to Main Street with a couple minutes to spare to catch Magical. Unfortunately I bypassed the AP area so not sure how many people were there and was too far back to see their ears perform.
  • Page Number: 51
A clip from the show, with a couple of Glow Ears visible.
  • Page Number: 52
The Mickey was a bit off tonight.
