Arrived at the parks, of course DCA had no wait to enter and I was heading to Disneyland...
    Which had a mild wait.
The Main Street Train Station scaffolding is down, but finishing touches continue so the trains still are not stopping.
  • Page Number: 2
    A closer look...
  • Page Number: 3
Walls are still up on the Main Street side.
The Disneyland Band in Town Square for a concert.
  • Page Number: 4
    A look down Main Street.
  • Page Number: 5
An artist showcase going on in Disneyana this weekend.
A quick look at the showcase artwork.
Work continues on the archway at Coke Corner.
  • Page Number: 6
You can almost make it out through the tarp.
    Looking over at Fantasy Faire
  • Page Number: 7
The primary stroller parking for Fantasy Faire is in the hub.
This horse (I missed his name) is dressed up for St. Patricks day.
  • Page Number: 8
What a difference a week makes, weather wise.
    Walked through Fantasy Faire.
  • Page Number: 9
Some stroller parking inside the area too (so guess the rumor of a stroller band was just that a rumor so far).
Only a half hour wait for the princesses this afternoon.
Show times are now posted by the Royal Theatre...
  • Page Number: 10
The walls are down in Frontierland as the work on the Pioneer Mercantile has wrapped up.
  • Page Number: 11
Random Mickey shirt in the window..
The Oasis was open for seating, this sign by the BBQ line.
  • Page Number: 12
The mass of guests trying to find their way into the Pirates queue.
The Mark Twain has is nearing completion
I finally saw the tower crane move.. first time. Unfortunately I saw it swing around and the operator shut it down for the day only.
  • Page Number: 13
Here you can see the operator climbing down.
  • Page Number: 14
    The Columbia rounding the corner.
The frames for the building are starting to take shape through the trees.
Big Al hanging out at the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree
  • Page Number: 15
I thought this was great. The access for the job site for the construction crews is through the mine shaft. So it looks like they were working in the mine all day and calling it quits.
The Fantasy Faire has not shortened the wait for Rapunzel.
  • Page Number: 16
The repainting of the light poles in the Small World Mall continues. Also notice Monorail Orange in the background stopped.
These poles on the left(West) side are all done.
The Royal Walk is all removed. Back to Monorail Orange.. after being stopped it started to back up and head back to Downtown Disney.
  • Page Number: 17
Another look at the former Royal Walk area.
The wait for Merida was healthy too.
No signs of change a the old information booth. Still closed.
  • Page Number: 18
We now have an opening date for Mickey and the Magical Map.. May 25th. So just over two months to go.
Lights were on and looked like they may have been working with some of the rigging.
  • Page Number: 19
    A look at Mickeys House
The Goofy Water is still closed...
Spotted the mule on the beamway heading to tow assist a monorail.
  • Page Number: 20
Monorail Red was stuck at the Tomorrowland Station. They pulled up and prepared to tow it back to the round house.
The walls in the Starcade have come down. The merchandise displays are spread out more and some video games have returned.
  • Page Number: 21
    Including Fix It Felix Jr.
Still seems they need to spend some time/money and decide what to do with the Starcade and do it. The makeshift nature of it is really poor. Is it a gift shop, an arcade, or what?
    Back to Main Street.
  • Page Number: 22
    The waits around 2:30pm
Making Easter Eggs candy on Main Street.
  • Page Number: 23
The Dapper Dans performing by the Market House. Surprised no work has begun on making it a Starbucks yet.
Are these the Limited Time Magic hats for the month.. no label and I cannot remember from the picture.
Next stop Buena Vista Street. Seems they have gotten tired repainting the bridge and moved back to messing with the windows along the street. Here is Big Top Toys (much better pictures later in the update).
  • Page Number: 24
Atwater Ink and Paint has a new window too. Better pics later.
    Waits around 3:00pm
  • Page Number: 25
Soarin had a fairly full queue, 45 minute wait.
The Happy Camper out performing. I miss the Miner 49ers. He is ok but I enjoyed the miners more.
The swings look almost back together.
  • Page Number: 26
Goofy conducting an Instant Concert on Paradise Bay
The fountains in action (from under the swings)
A video clip of the performance.
  • Page Number: 27
Random merchandise picture as I walked around Paradise Pier.
Mr. Potato Head was on a break.
St. Patricks Day bread at the Pacific Wharf Cafe
  • Page Number: 28
    On my way to eat...
Mater rolling out to take pictures.
  • Page Number: 29
    Route 66 and Cross Street.
A traffic jam at the Cozy Cone as Lightening wraps up his pictures and Mater waits to take over.
Maters Junkyard Jamboree has returned to normal operation with both sides open and resurfaced.
  • Page Number: 30
Caught some of the Red Car News Boys.
Still amazed at how many pictures I get of the characters with their eyes closed...
  • Page Number: 31
  • Page Number: 32
Monorail Red was back in service later in the day.
A look at the Flying Tires.
  • Page Number: 33

    Random picture of the Racers
The Pixar Play Parade making its way toward Carthay Circle.
  • Page Number: 34
The glare is getting better.. you can see how the Atwater Ink and Paint window now looks very cluttered.
    The Big Top Toys window
Stopped by to see the Billies.
  • Page Number: 35
Testing the effects for Fantasmic along the Rivers of America.
Looking down on Adventureland from the tree house
A look over at the lift hill of Big Thunder.
  • Page Number: 36
Not much visible progress from the angles I have found of Big Thunder.
I do not understand why there are social media related shirts in the windows of Frontierland. Maybe someday the concept of show will return to merchandising.
Heading toward the Fantasy Faire from Frontierland.
  • Page Number: 37
I did not notice this last week but there is a second fence now on the water side covered with plants. Guess someone was worried that the extra kids in the area would go over the stone wall and into the water.
The wait grew to 60 minutes.
The sign for the Boutique there looks awkward to me.. plus ruins the nice picture.
  • Page Number: 38
A better pic of the sign.
    Looking back.
If the wait is an hour and the queue is not even full what does that mean is the full wait time if the queue overflows back toward the hub?
  • Page Number: 39
Moving over to Tomorrowland now. The Orbitron sat motionless as the music played, which seems to be the norm.
  • Page Number: 40
    Stopped by Innoventions..
    Not much going on inside.
  • Page Number: 41
Walls up around the big empty area where the Honda cars were parked (and where once upon a time the Segways were)
  • Page Number: 42
As I cut through the Emporium noticed there are now directory signs by a couple of the doorways.
A closer look. I never thought it was that hard to look around and figure out where things are but I guess guests need maps vs exploration, observation? I especially liked how all the cashiers needed to be noted.
    Time for Soundsational.
  • Page Number: 43
Some random pictures from the parade.
  • Page Number: 44
  • Page Number: 45
    Wait times just before 7pm.
Made it down the street before the parade.. seems there was a hiccup and it was stopped for a few minutes.
Elvis, Scot Bruce, was at the Tomorrowland Terrace.
  • Page Number: 46
Random Castle picture as I headed for the Fantasy Faire.
The Faire was closed for the evening with the last show ending hours ago.
The Royal Hall closed at 7pm and the last guests were still working through the queue.
  • Page Number: 47
The Tangled Tower has a little lighting moment every five minutes.
  • Page Number: 48
Video of the tower and then the lighting moment.
  • Page Number: 49
Figaro at night. There is a soft spot light on the area.
    Video of Figaro.
  • Page Number: 50
Back to DCA and Buena Vista Street. Big Top Toys window.
Notice they even have prop trash on the ground..
  • Page Number: 51
Tinkerbell contemplating jumping off the tower..
  • Page Number: 52
A quick look at the Atwater Ink and Paint Window.
Walked through the Mad T Party.
  • Page Number: 53
Disney Jr is still closed.. surprised it has not reopened yet.
One of the lights is out on the Packard.
I had not seen Remember yet this season so found a spot on Main Street for the show. Thanks to the fog I still have not seen much of the show this year.
  • Page Number: 54
A look at the current DCA guide and time schedule.
  • Page Number: 55
The new Disneyland map features the princesses.
