    Arriving at the Disneyland Resort this afternoon. The Big Thunder crane towers over the park, no activity this trip though.
    The parking lots were not that crowded this afternoon.
    Wonder what all these are for, at first thought they were left over from the race.. then in the evening saw them in use...

    Guess the permanent sign was having problems.
    Over at the Disneyland Hotel the walls that were around the end of the Fantasy Tower are all gone and the area cleaned up.
    They are still working on the park area where the ice rink was.

    Some work going on in Downtown Disney near ESPN Zone.
    It stretched all the way out to where the stage usually is.
    Looks like they are laying or replacing some piping/conduit maybe.

    A temporary stage set up closer to where the ice rink was.
    Oz the Great and Powerful banners up at the AMC.

    No real visible progress on the Fossil store.
    Waiting to get into Disneyland. The lines were moving rather slowly this afternoon and were backed up beyond the Monorail beam.
    Just missed the Disneyland Band.

    A healthy crowd on Main Street.
    The waits around 1:35pm, not bad at all with the longest posted being 25 minutes only.
    A quick look over at the Fantasy Faire as it races toward its announced opening date of March 12th.

    No real visible progress here.
    There were no tickets for later shows of the Revue but was able to walk right in on Standby for the 2:00pm show.
    This is the last weekend for the Salute to the Golden Horseshoe Revue as part of the Limited Time Magic.

    The Cowboy Roundup was just concluding as I entered the Jamboree.

    The signage and entrances for the theater are in place.

    Moving on to New Orleans Square now. The Bayou Bash has a few more weekends left in its run.
    The traditional jazz band making its way through New Orleans, I posted pictures and video in the January 18th update if you would like to see more.

    They were working on the Mark Twain into the evening, you could hear the saws after dark as they redo the wood work.
    Splash Mountain is down for its annual work.

    Went for a cruise aboard the Columbia. Here is a look toward Big Thunder. They have a lot of equipment/tools out for the project. No signs of work going on this afternoon though.
    Noticed a time lapse camera set up looking toward the mountain (just to the left of center frame here).

    Demo work has begun on Rainbow Ridge
    Since the Columbia is the only ship on the water it had a good size crowd on deck.
    Two of the three Fantasmic light/fountain platforms are being worked on. This is the center one.

    This is the one near the Tom Sawyer Island dock (the left most platform when looking at the stage).

    The Mark Twain paddle wheel. I missed the rest of the boat since I was looking at the Fantasmic platforms.

    Chip and Dale were roaming around Town Square as I passed through.
    Next stop Buena Vista Street. The car that usually parked outside of Oswalds is gone for the time being. Also noticed a fairly long line at guest relations.

    Both sides of Maters were running today.
    The one side has a new surface now.

    A patch of concrete has been replaced along the parade route.

    Over at Fillmores beads have returned.

    Someone wanted to know what happened to the holes the telephone poles that were used for the Christmas decorations. They put plates on them
    The windows were covered up while some work was going on inside Docs.
    Flos V8 Cafe was closed due to the work.

    The cast members signing for the Charter Airlines show were really into the show.

    In Fantasyland the Mad Tea Party is closed for some work.
    This afternoon Monorail Blue and Orange were on the beamway. The cars overlay is long gone.

    I was this close to getting a great pictures with several princesses... just a few seconds too slow getting to the area..
    Snow White
    Our friends at MouseInfo said Belle was to be wearing a new dress today. Anyone know if this is it? I could not tell and have not had time to dig out an old picture to compare.

    Small World is closed as the Holiday show is removed.

    No visible progress on the old Kodak booth.

    Small World is drained during the work.

    Goofy Water watch continues... still closed.
    Several weeks ago (maybe months now) they updated the steering wheels on the Autopia and closed in the gaps. I know it is a little hard to tell but this was the best I could get without waiting in line and going for a spin...

    Noticed what appeared to be a spot light set up near the hub. I am assuming it is not for the trolley stop signage but instead something going in the planter, maybe for the upcoming True Love week.

    Two of the three screens as you enter the Blue Sky Cellar had a short loop of Fantasy Faire work now, last visit they still had the old loops playing.

    The new food cart that we saw in place earlier today.

    A closer look at the princess meet and greet area. You can see the queue to the top right and then inside the building looks like two paths with three areas each to meet the princesses.

    Caught World of Color, was in the yellow section I think (there was no real crowd so the far side was open to all).
    Just noticed (guessing it changed a while ago) the reserved sections instead of saying preferred or a color now say the dining location on them.

    Remember those barriers I spotted on the way in. Well on the way out they had them lined up around the tram parking area.
    Guess they do not want guests walking through there anymore.
