  • Page Number: 1
Spotted this sign in the Pinocchio lot. The guest of the day gets to park right up front and has a large sign indicating their car... I thought the old guest of the day spot right by the escalators in the garage was better (your car does not have to sit out in the sun then).
A large section of the Downtown Disney parking lot is behind a fence as the resurface it.
The walls near the Fantasy Tower at the Disneyland Hotel.
  • Page Number: 2
The temporary lift has returned to the side of the tower. Anyone hear/read what is being worked on?
Looks to be the top floor.
The old Compass Books (and various other entities over the years) kiosk is gone.
  • Page Number: 3
Looks like some pipe work maybe (notice how it went under the road).
What looks to be a color test on Earl of Sandwich
  • Page Number: 4
Noticed one of the windows was not covered so took a look inside. They are putting in the tile floor. Looks like there is quite a ways to go still.
    Finding Nemo is coming soon..
  • Page Number: 5
A couple signs on the wall.
Downtown Disney was really quiet, since it was only around 7:30am.
These seemed to be new umbrellas around the bar area.
  • Page Number: 6
Not visible progress, but you would see a piece of equipment so something is going on behind the wall to the right of the DCA entrance.
One of the Red Cars parked on Buena Vista Street as we entered.
  • Page Number: 7
Plenty of signage to direct you to the Racers queue. It stretched to the Disney Jr. Theater when we arrived.
The other Red Car stopped on Hollywood Blvd.
  • Page Number: 8
You could roam Hollywood Land and Buena Vista Street. Nothing was open in Hollywood Land though, but nice to walk around with no one there.
A sight I rarely see.. return times on the Racers distribution sign.
The Flying Tires have had their Beach Balls removed.
  • Page Number: 9
My first Radiator Springs Racers Fastpass... since they are usually gone right after the park opens I have never had one before...
Thought this was interesting they were giving away surprise fastpasses for Screamin in an effort to spread the crowd out.
  • Page Number: 10
Toy Story had only a 10 minute wait. Noticed two of the gates were blocked off.
Next up a spin on the Fun Wheel.
A worker on the roof of the Paradise Pier Hotel.
  • Page Number: 11
  • Page Number: 12
One of the panels on the Swings is removed.
One of the lamp posts is removed. Also surprised to still see the temporary ATM, wonder if that is the permanent one?
  • Page Number: 13
Random Sky School picture as I walked by and others went for a ride.
    Next up the Little Mermaid.
    The low telescope is MIA..
  • Page Number: 14
    Wait times around 10:20am
Fastpasses for the Racers are long gone already.
A two hour stand by line, we used Fastpasses and were on in about 5 minutes.
  • Page Number: 15
The spring is working again, it was not last visit.
  • Page Number: 16
    Some random pictures..
A car waiting to come onto the track.
  • Page Number: 17
    Tractor tipping is working again.
  • Page Number: 18
The timing was goofed up for the race sequence. Here you can see cars backed up for Luigis. We rolled right into Ramones and then proceeded to race no one.
    Ramones...
  • Page Number: 19
Also the timing was off on the end and they were silent went we drove by then started up after we passed.
  • Page Number: 20
Interesting new name.. Child Services sounds so governmental to me... thought the baby care center sounded better. Guess they combined other services here too now.
The Red Car News Boys performing in Carthay Circle.
A film crew off to the side.. they were just milling around.
  • Page Number: 21
  • Page Number: 22
Something I had not seen before. After the show the Red Car headed for the front of the park, the previous shows I have seen it went down Hollywood Blvd.
The film crew moved over and out to the street.
  • Page Number: 23
A video clip of the Red Car pulling out of the Buena Vista Street station and heading under the bridge (I thought the timing of a monorail passing by was great!).
  • Page Number: 24
There was a problem and time schedules at DCA were not available at park opening nor when we headed to Disneyland around 11am.
Lincoln was closed when we first entered the park.
Halloween Merchandise has taken over already.
  • Page Number: 25
    Goofy coming out for pictures.
Some work going on at Coke Corner. Wonder if the lights will be fixed. I have not seen them on in quite a while.
    Climbers on the Matterhorn.
  • Page Number: 26
    Wait times around 11:25am
    Time for Pirates after lunch.
Noticed the pirate that is usually laying with the pigs was not out today.
  • Page Number: 27
Haunted Mansion was next, no wait at all we walked up and followed this group in.
Indy was closed when we went back to use our Fastpass.
So went for a ride on the Jungle Cruise instead.
  • Page Number: 28
The new nets still bother me. Also new they would not let you sit in the doorway.
The rain effect was not working, but the skipper had a good line. In the rain forest it rains 365 days a year.. this is leap year so today is the day off...
  • Page Number: 29
Not sure if I been on since the return, but both elephants are back now.
  • Page Number: 30
The view through the net if you happen to be too short to see over it your experience is basically ruined. Guess you have to sit on your parents lap at that point.
The marine layer was finally burning off by early afternoon.
  • Page Number: 31
The dancers were out front of the Big Thunder Ranch, they just finished up a set.
Donald heading in for a break.
No chairs out today, just benches.
  • Page Number: 32
Mickey and Minnie posing for a picture.
    The Billies
There is an extreme close up...
  • Page Number: 33
There were several characters out on the trail as I was heading to Fantasyland.
The princesses have been relocated to the Small World Mall area.
There are some banners and backdrops behind them. Very similar in concept to what was set up for the Villains the past several years during HalloweenTime.
  • Page Number: 34
    Wow a long wait...
I was lining up to take a couple pictures of the backdrops in between guests and here you can see a hand of a castmember who came over to me and said I would have to get in line to take pictures or leave. And since I was not going to wait 75 minutes to get pictures of those backdrops I moved on...
  • Page Number: 35
    The climbers...
I read on a couple of sites that Alice is going to be receiving a permanent solution vs these temporary extensions this winter.
  • Page Number: 36
More steel supports for the new structures/facades in the Fantasy Faire.
  • Page Number: 37
Artwork for the faire up on the walls now. Also thought everything else said Winter 2013.
Some random (and dark) pictures from Indiana Jones.
  • Page Number: 38
  • Page Number: 39

  • Page Number: 40
Saw the Attraction Poster Art book in several stores, it will be on Amazon in a few weeks too.
The Voices of Liberty only have a couple weeks left in their run.
  • Page Number: 41
Walls up around the Fanyasyland Theater as it is transformed back to a theater from the Princess meet and greet.
  • Page Number: 42
It has been quite a while, I want to say at least a year, since I have seen a figure on the left most platform.
One of the dancers was missing too.
Soundsational making its way down the parade route.
  • Page Number: 43
We took the train to Main Street and were able to catch a good portion of the parade.
I had to run over to DCA and as I entered Buena Vista Street their flag retreat was going on.
  • Page Number: 44
The citizens of Buena Vista Street stop to observe.
Unlike Disneyland, the DCA one is silent.
  • Page Number: 45
A video of the last portion (I missed the beginning).
  • Page Number: 46
Over to Disneyland to catch their retreat.
  • Page Number: 47
No real visible progress in Fantasyland.
Wonder if it is for a new sign?
  • Page Number: 48
Speaking of new sign. Looks like the Village Haus is next to receive LCD menus.
Decided to go in search of Nemo after dinner (and saving the galaxy on Buzz).
  • Page Number: 49
  • Page Number: 50
    We found him...
Scot Bruce/Elvis was performing at Tomorrowland Terrace.
A different guitar player than usual in the band tonight.
  • Page Number: 51
    A healthy crowd.
Disneyana also has the Poster Art book.
