We start off today walking through Downtown Disney. Not much visible progress on Earl of Sandwich.
A look through the windows reveals what appears to be a lot of work left to do.
This kiosk is slated to be removed soon.
  • Page Number: 2
No visible progress on the planters to the right of the DCA entrance.
The dedication plaque on Buena Vista Street has been replaced. The old one had an extra plate on the bottom.
A new issue of the Buena Vista Bugle is out for August.
  • Page Number: 3
A closer look at the paper.
  • Page Number: 4
The patriotic overlay for Buena Vista Street has been removed.
    Wait times around 11:30am
  • Page Number: 5
Noticed the napkins have no logo on them right now, does that mean new ones are on the way? Or just in between shipments?
The view from my table at Flos. A great place to sit and eat lunch.
  • Page Number: 6
Speaking of Flos a look at the souvenir glasses they are selling.
Next door in Ramones a look at the Chip Foose hood pins. (Also wanted to note they had tons of the Cars Land CDs near the registers).
No posted wait for single riders, but it backed up to near the entrance. 150 for Standby.

    Disneyland felt calm this afternoon.
  • Page Number: 9
    Wait times around 12:30pm
The Jungle Cruise had a long wait, they were using the upper level of the queue the couple times I walked by.
The Jungle Cruise was closed for about a week as they worked on the boats and docks. They have added nets to all the boats, a new tie off and bumpers that I could tell.
  • Page Number: 10
A closer look at the nets. Interesting how for 57 years these were not needed but now they have to dummy proof things for modern guests.
    The new bumpers.
Walking by the Rivers of America.
  • Page Number: 11
    Heading out to the Jamboree.
Some new signs along the trail. Too bad Big Al and the other Bears do not perform!
  • Page Number: 12
There was a square dance lesson/activity going on as I approached the ranch.
  • Page Number: 13
Here is a brief video clip of the activity.
Even with all the signs and activity it was still fairly quiet till the Billies came out.
  • Page Number: 14
Farmer Mickey was out today, wonder what happened to Cowboy Mickey?
  • Page Number: 15
    The Billies.
  • Page Number: 16
A clip of Billy Be Good...
This was the largest crowd I have seen for a show since they moved (but I have only been to a couple so not a lot of data points).
  • Page Number: 17
Merida had a healthy line waiting for pictures.
  • Page Number: 18
Made a quick walk through the Small World Toy Shop. Had a request for pictures of the Small World toys.. this was the only display I saw with Small World items..
  • Page Number: 19
    Mona Monorail passing overhead.
Climbers were on the Tomorrowland side of the Matterhorn this time by.
  • Page Number: 20
  • Page Number: 21
What appears to be a test on a small portion of the Nemo railings. Looks like they really want to find a way to keep guests off the railings.
    For comparison a regular railing.
  • Page Number: 22
    Cinderella out for stroll.
A couple more Plaza Gardens pictures
  • Page Number: 23

Back to DCA. Stopped by Off the Page to see if they had the Poster Art book, they did not.
Stopped by the Backlot stage for the College Band set. Note they only have one week left. They wrap up their season on August 10th.
  • Page Number: 24
A video clip of the band performing Zero to Hero.
Halloween merchandise is making its way into the parks.
  • Page Number: 25
Dancin with Disney, another great place to interact with the characters and so far I have not seen big crowds.
  • Page Number: 26
Noticed a table set up to buy refreshments.
Caught the Red Car News Boys as we headed back to Disneyland.

This cart had a couple new (well new to me) menu items.
  • Page Number: 32
Nothing happening in Critter Country this evening.
The Big Thunder Ranch BBQ and Jamboree closed early this evening for a special event. Nationwide had the area for a private event.
Another sign I missed earlier. This one coming from Fantasyland.

The Bolts were performing at Tomorrowland Terrace tonight.
This guest had spent some time in Cars Land (or at least some money).
  • Page Number: 35

Thought the clouds this evening made for a different look.
  • Page Number: 38
  • Page Number: 39
    Over to the Flying Tires.
I watched three or four cycles and never saw a single rider, are they really forcing you to pair up and not break up your group in an effort to make the waits shorter? Or was it just dumb luck what I observed?
    Random tire picture...
  • Page Number: 40
As I was heading out DJ came rolling by.
