No real visible progress out front. Assuming they are working on the planters behind the wall.
Buena Vista Street was alive with activity as usual.
And still decked out with the patriotic overlay.

    The wait times around 3:40pm
The Fly Girls were performing as we walked by.
    Heading into Cars Land.
  • Page Number: 3
Ahh.. a two hour wait.. but we had a couple of first timers with us (one of which was celebrating his birthday.. so we headed for the wait).
  • Page Number: 4
The attraction broke down a couple minutes after we entered the line so we crept along as others decided to bail out. Along the way I snapped some pictures of the signs.

The spring was not running today...

One of the many great vistas from the queue.
  • Page Number: 8
I do not think this was the original intent of this planter/area. It has turned into a kids play/waiting area as well as a location for the vendors to hawk their treats.

Guests had managed to move some of the rocks that covered the lights. One group was actually picking one up for pictures. Amazing what people will do.

We finally made it to the load platform.. about 150 minutes from when we entered thanks to the breakdown.

    Yeah time for a ride!
A couple random pictures from my journey.

Some of the effects were not working properly. For example the tractors did not tip in the tractor tipping section (no picture since it was on the other side of the car and I did not notice till it was too late).
We went to the tires.. where I seem to end up 4/5ths of the time. The timing was off and the white wall effect was no where near syncd. Also Docs timing was off as we exited.

We managed to win our race! There was a slight backup at the offload area.
A Red Car Trolley passing by in Carthay Circle.

In Taste Pilots they are trying a reconfigured queue. Instead of picking a register you line up in a switchback and castmember direct you to one.
    The waits around 7:50pm
The baby care center has been switched over to the right now where first aid used to be as they remodel the old space.

Hanging out on Route 66 waiting for the neon to come on.
A few minutes later everything lit up.
  • Page Number: 16
    Random shot toward Bugs Land.
The cone cups are back and selling well.
  • Page Number: 17
Decided to go for a spin on Maters since it was a posted 15 minute wait. Notice the hidden Mickey.
    A closer look.
The Bugs Theater blends in fairly well in the background.

Next wandered over and through the Mad T Party.
  • Page Number: 19
The Glow with the Show Ears were blinking to the beat of the music. A nice effect. Only spotted a handful of ears in the area on guests though.
The Mad T Party Band performing.
  • Page Number: 20

Noticed their extra neon sign is gone, probably been for a while but it stood out as I was waiting for someone and looking around.
    A closer look.

Random picture of the Mad T Party entrance.
A Red Car making its way down Hollywood Blvd.
Stopped at the Animation Building. This wraps up this quick trip to DCA.
