You could make out Downtown Los Angeles in the distance.
A couple random shots around the room this morning before heading out.

We drove to breakfast since we wanted to move the car to the Mickey and Friends garage to make leaving easier later today. Along the way snapped some pictures of the back of the Cars Land work. Here you can just barely make out scaffolding is up on the side that overlooks Katella.
As you continue on down the side that faces Harbor has this pattern/screen on it.
  • Page Number: 5
Seems this hotel would want some snow on the mountains for a nice backdrop.
They blend in nicely in the background.
    Traveling down Harbor now.
  • Page Number: 6
After parking the car took the tram to the parks. An ad for Lady and the Tramp as you pull into the tram stop.
So far looks like the inside of the bakery has been gutted and some of the facade glass removed.
First stop of the morning, Disneyland (since DCA was not open yet).

A better shot of some of the workers. This group appeared to be cleaning the mountain.
Some scaffolding up on Main Street. This is the south side that overlooks the Carnation Cafe (opposite the Bakery).
  • Page Number: 18
As we headed into DCA only half the walkway was open and you could not go get a World of Color Fastpass early. There was some sort of Run Disney event going on. Think it was a childrens event.
A better shot of the Soarin sign.
The breakfast menu at Taste Pilots.

Waiting for the rope to drop...

  • Page Number: 20
    More parade speakers missing..
They were submerging the WoC platforms, guess they were up for the event this morning.
Went for a spin on Toy Story and even though there were not that many people in front of me my score was still just over half the high score for the day and I thought I had a decent game...
  • Page Number: 21
Noticed a couple of lights out as I was leaving.. this is above the gift shop.
  • Page Number: 22
Time for a spin on the Fun Wheel. The facade work on the midway shops is moving along.
  • Page Number: 23
    A look at Cars Land.
Looks like the walkway has been poured and they are working on the edge of it now.
A crew working on the lights over the Flying tires (notice the lift).
  • Page Number: 24
The two last cones to be assembled have not passed the original three and are painted orange already.
A closer look. In the background notice the hold in the wall that leads into Bugs (pictures from there in several pages).
The facade is moving along on the old farm building.

Some barriers, guessing they were from this mornings event.
  • Page Number: 28
Screamin came to a halt, you may have heard the announcement in one of the video clips of Maters testing. They had to evacuate the guests. It was running again later in the day.
A look at some of the race preparations.
    Next up the Little Mermaid.
  • Page Number: 29
Noticed one pad without a frog.. went back and looked at my pictures and only have seen two all along.. so nothing changed...

The Disneyland Band and characters in front of the castle. Showcasing another rotten day in Southern California... temps were in the high 70s and not a hint of a cloud.

Stopped by the Muppets since I heard there were new monitors in the waiting area. Of course the show was just about to start so was rushed into the theater and only got these two quick pictures.
  • Page Number: 56
Mickeys Dance Crew is still running.
The setting sun and perfect sky made for a great combination to highlight Tower of Terror.
  • Page Number: 57
Did they trim the trees.. seems you can see Tower more clearly from Bugs.. thought some of the trees were up to the height of the clovers in a couple areas.. this just looked more open to us.
Went for another spin on Toy Story thanks to a cast member encounter someone in our group had .. they were waiting for some of the group to finish on Tower while I was off taking pictures and a Cast Member came up and started talking with them asking about their day, etc.. and offered them a couple of attraction passes as a way to make their day more Magical. So we used them and were able to ride with no wait!
