Heading to the parks via the tram
The wires on the trees at the tram stop seemed to stand out more to me this week. Are they new, being moved, trees trimmed, or just caught my eye??
  • Page Number: 2
Aulani ads are present on all the ticketbooths the regular Annual Pass ones are gone. (This may have happened a while ago but it registered today)
This week the skies were much more friendly for pictures.

Stopped by the Halloween Round-up to see the latest pumpkin carvings.

Heading over to DCA now. The view from ground level.
  • Page Number: 30
The fences on the small path by the Grand CA stood out to me. Guessing they redid these when they decided to use it as the stroller drop off area.
A new merchandise cart/display replaced the small cart at the end of the walkway as you head into Condor Flats.
  • Page Number: 31
Oops someone or something damaged the railing as you make the turn toward the Bay Area street.

Back to the rock work. As you can sort of make out there is some relief but for the most part it looks to be a wall. So guessing it will be a cliff.
The paint progress is creeping across.
The plastic is all down in the station area.

Speaking of painting the far side is still being painted.
Backstage some walls are up and looks like pipe work.
  • Page Number: 42
Over to the Carthay work. The walls are going up and looking great.
Not much visible progress on the facade here.
  • Page Number: 43
Interesting... wonder what the concrete barriers are for.. maybe they are going to be finishing up a section and that is to keep construction traffic away?
    The Courthouse is taking shape
  • Page Number: 44
Woody out in the Maliboomer park (I am sure it has a new name but to me that will stick for a while)
Here you can see where the new mesh is going up.
Thought this was a nice shot with the nearly complete mountains in the background.

The side of the Fantasy Tower where the temp lift was attached. They are still cleaning that up.
  • Page Number: 85
The walkway on the lobby side of the Fantasia gift shop was about to be opened. I talked to one of the workers and they said within an hour or so it will be open.
There seemed to be several couches I did not remember from last week.
Took a peak in the restroom on the main floor, plain white walls too.
  • Page Number: 86
Moving the barriers out of the way. This walkway was to be opened too so you could go from the lobby to the convention side inside again.
  • Page Number: 87
The main entrance to the hotel. This was to be open too I believe.
Looking at the area between the lobby and convention center you can see they are pouring concrete and getting it ready. It will be open in a week with the fountains following after that according to someone I spoke to.
  • Page Number: 88
  • Page Number: 89
The lobby will start to go behind walls and be done in two phases. All interior work is slated to be done by Nov 7th to be ready for the holiday rush.

The sign at the Disney Theater was all lit up, usually with ElecTRONica I do not get to see this.
  • Page Number: 97
Someone asked about the walls on the Backlot. You can still get to the Smoothies, so just the street is blocked.
Believe this is a new sign on the exterior of the Cellar.

There were some work lights on at Cars Land so took some shots of the area with this different lighting.
  • Page Number: 99
Decided to go for another spin on the Fun Wheel to see if you could see anything. Not really.
  • Page Number: 100
  • Page Number: 101
The crowd waiting for World of Color
Not the best shot.. but the gift cart that was in this area between the Corn Dog Castle and Goofys was gone.
  • Page Number: 102
    Waiting for World of Color
The show started about 17 minutes late. We speculated it may have been a speaker issue since we heard no announcements about the delay, etc.. until they played the it will start in a few minutes right before it started.
Also the pop up projection domes did not pop up from what I could tell from my angle.
  • Page Number: 103
Oops a random fountain stayed on for a while. (the blue stream)
A cart on the trail when you head toward GRR set up for the exiting masses to buy that last minute gift on the way out.
