    We start off today at the Candy Cane Inn on Harbor. Here is a look at the back side of Cars Land and the water tank that was put in last year.

    A look at the range walking down Harbor Blvd. Note the two large trucks in the bottom of the shot, delivering large pieces for Cars Land (looked to be for ventilation or A/C).

    First stop of the day, Disneyland. The gift shop on the West side looks to be done, it was behind walls the past few visits.

    A large riser is set up in Town Square. This is for the Soundsational Parade media event later today.
    I was lucky enough to get a spot on there for the event (check out those pictures in another update/section if you have not yet, the view from up there is unique.

    The Star Tours Fastpass machines ready for the masses in another day.
    I entered the online queue/drawing for wristbands for the opening day Star Tours pin and was selected. To enter the gift shop they were using the old Rocket Rods queue. So here is a shot.
    Afterwards I went on Buzz since it was a walk on, not a bad score.

    Looks like they recently repaved or resurfaced the walkway near the Pixie Hollow fountains.
    Opted to go for a ride on Alice since it was a 5 minute wait and Peter Pan/Mr Toad/Dumbo were already in the 20+ range.

    Out at the ranch the Pirates sneak peek is all done and the Pirates have left.

    I really do enjoy walking the park in the first hour or so after opening. You can get great shots like this with no one around!
    This looks like it has been resurfaced again recently.
    Big Thunder is down for some scheduled work.

    A new perfume shop that pays homage to a classic one has opened in New Orleans Square.
    It had not opened for the day yet.
