The work is complete on the bridge area of the parking garage. Not really sure what was done.
They definitely did not repaint the bridge portion. Maybe just some work on the stairs.
The new entrance is moving along. The steel looks to be covered now and the next layer is going on.
  • Page Number: 2
    The towers are covered again.
  • Page Number: 3
The Carthay steel work looks to be complete. The crane is gone and the frame looks about the same as what we saw a few weeks ago. Interesting to note no one was working on this site today that we could tell.
There is now a wall up as they work on extending the Red Car rails out of the Backlot.
  • Page Number: 4
Cinder block walls have risen on the right side (nearest GRR). This will be a pump house from what we have seen.
  • Page Number: 5
A couple more Carthay shots as I walked down the parade route.
  • Page Number: 6
Cars Lands mountain range looming in the distance.
They have now put concrete on the peaks of all the tail fins.

The last section of the range is coated.

  • Page Number: 9
While heading out noticed the stone sign has a few cracks in it now.. not sure how long they have been there, but thought I would point it out.
Looks like the Mermaid sign is installed, just covered till closer to the opening.
  • Page Number: 10
I read on a couple of sites that the Brother Bear overlay will slowly be removed from the Redwood Creek area.

The signage is still out front.
  • Page Number: 12
The repainting of Paradise Park continues.
  • Page Number: 13
This afternoon they had all three platforms up and were working on them (as seems to be the norm)
I did not do too bad for not playing in a while. But still way off from the high scores...was able to get the high score of the hour.
  • Page Number: 14
The tarps that were up near the hot dog stand are down and now there are matching wall segments to the new park area there.

The columns for the backstage gates are up and looks like some concrete is in too. Guessing the walls will be going up soon.
The foundation for Maters is moving along.
  • Page Number: 19
    Not much visible progress here.
The backstage gate and concrete driveway to it to the left of Mermaid looks to be just about done.

I was kind of disappointed by the parade lights returning where they are. They really stick out if you are trying to photograph the Mermaid building.

  • Page Number: 34
Took a stroll over to check out the Red Car work, you cannot see anything but the wall.
You can walk on either side of the work though.
  • Page Number: 35
Stroller parking is a bit cramped for Playhouse Disney due to the construction.
I liked the tape to indicate where you were supposed to park.
The Disney Junior neon was all on this afternoon (funny it is on during the day but off at night because of ElecTRONica).
  • Page Number: 36
The missing segment has been installed.
Disney has merchandise and signs for the upcoming Prom film in quite a few locations around the resort.

    Time to head to Disneyland.
  • Page Number: 44
The Dapper Dans were performing from City Hall.
    The repainting work is done.
As I was taking pictures I heard a scream and behind me the Queen of Hearts was following a child... and the parents were laughing hysterically near by with the video camera rolling. So not sure what happened but great to see the characters interacting and not just posing for pictures and autographs.

A bridge is up to for the workers to reach the Island.
The Mark Twain is docked on the far side of the Island.

The Premiere is only a week a away (Saturday the 7th)

They were trying to keep traffic moving in Adventureland too with signs and CMs stationed along the walkway.
Indys Fastpass was closed. I think to help with traffic. The line was only half an hour so I cannot believe they distributed them all for the day already.

Thought this was interesting. I read several places the Fastpass distribution will be using the old Buzz ones for Star Tours. But this sign was near where the old Star Tours ones were.

In the Markethouse on Main Street the old stove that used to sit in the middle of the store is gone. Read on another site that someone ran into it with an ECV.
