  • Page Number: 1
The steel has started to go up for the new entrance at DCA.
  • Page Number: 2
To help visualize, her is the concept art picture.
    From inside the park.
Heading into the former sun plaza. The mounds of dirt are gone or at least not visible over the walls anymore.
  • Page Number: 3
Continuing down the parade route. The Cars Land mountain range is filling in.
  • Page Number: 4
    A closer look
What looks like mounds of dirt where Maters attraction will be.
The Cadillac Range is looking great.
  • Page Number: 5
A closer look panning from the left to right. Which will allow you to see from the least finished to most complete area.
  • Page Number: 6
There is a massive amount of scaffolding up on the range now.
The rock work over looking the Wharf looks about the same to me.
  • Page Number: 7
On to the Little Mermaid building which is entering the home stretch.
Much of the scaffolding and covers are down on the building from the entrance arch around toward the Bay Area (East) side of the building.
Awaiting the installation of the new attraction sign
  • Page Number: 8
More detail and final paint scheme is emerging on the front of the building.
Disney Channel Rocks switched to afternoon performances this weekend so the stage was up and waiting for the show. Nice to see the WoC platform submerged.
I found it a challenge to get a good shot of the front of the Mermaid building with the trees that line the back of Paradise Park.
  • Page Number: 9
Duffys Meet and Greet is still where it has been.
But the Mickey one reopened and now matches Duffys. The trees really make a difference and hide most of the Screamin queue.
  • Page Number: 10
    A not so hidden Mickey
  • Page Number: 11
    Mickey out for pictures.
There were several CMs plus guests in the area so getting a clear shot of Mickey was not doable in the few moments I paused to get the shot.
The bay water looks to have deteriorated back to the brown yuck again (could not think of a good adjective).
  • Page Number: 12
The backside of the Meet and Greet
Mr. Potato Head was behind his curtain this afternoon, by the evening he was back and heard he was up in the morning.
Looking over at the Maliboomer park area looks like there will be an entrance sign or something. Notice the steel going up.
  • Page Number: 13
A large team of painters working on the railings in the park.
Over at the Mermaid Attraction the queue area to the left (West side) is taking shape.
  • Page Number: 14
A closer look. You can see where the wall is going to go.
The new dining area is moving along. They have steel up for the shade structure that will go along the parade route/dining area and the wood facades of the two restaurants is really taking shape now.
  • Page Number: 15
    The Paradise Grill
    The Boardwalk Pizza place
Looking down at the park looks like the trees in crates will be staying that way. Just like the new Meet and Greet by Ariels. Things seem to be moving slowly.
  • Page Number: 16
Back to the dining area where visible progress is much more evident. A much better shot of the steel work.
A covered area near Goofys Sky School. I read this will be a stage area.
  • Page Number: 17
The painting looks to be complete on Goofys. Now there is scaffolding up as they install the elements around the track.
Back to Mermaid for a shot of one of the towers.
  • Page Number: 18
    Over to Cars Land now.
No real visible progress on the Cones
  • Page Number: 19
Work has started up again on the gift shop.
  • Page Number: 20
The entranceway that will connect to the Wharf.
More steel, scaffolding, and progress on the rockwork.
  • Page Number: 21
No visible progress on the track work. Guessing this is because they still need access to work on the rocks. Notice the concrete truck in there now.
Where they were pouring concrete this afternoon.
  • Page Number: 22
    The Cadillac Range
This is the far left side where the rock work comes to an end.
  • Page Number: 23
I was laughing how the tree was right in the way of getting a good shot of King Triton. Wonder if this was on purpose. As I went around the Fun Wheel I kept looking for a clear shot and never saw one.
Looks like the concrete planters have been poured near the Corn Dog stand.
  • Page Number: 24
Noticed what looks to be a wall for the flying tires is up.
A closer look. Guess you will not be able to see the attraction from here the street.
An overhead of the new Meet and Greet area.
  • Page Number: 25
Some shots of the park area. Not much visible progress.
  • Page Number: 26

  • Page Number: 32
    Mickey was on break.
  • Page Number: 33
    As was Duffy
This really does change the view as you head into the area. Only thing is I would have liked to have seen a couple more trees to the left to try and block out the convention center and even the Screamin Queue cover.
  • Page Number: 34
More shots of the Mermaid progress.
  • Page Number: 35
The detail work on the building looks great!
The tarp/covers make it too hard to get a good shot of the archway, but the reliefs are in.
  • Page Number: 36
Steel for a new sign on Goofys in the center of the shot.
A look at the Mermaid queue from the Zephyr, notice all the switchbacks.
Work looks to be underway on the gift shop now. The old signs are being removed.
  • Page Number: 37
  • Page Number: 38
Now from the Swings. The forms are going in for the stand nearest swings. Also looks like most of the parade route is repoured.
  • Page Number: 39
Looks like most of the building is framed now.
  • Page Number: 40
Guessing those steel posts sticking out will be for the sign.
Trying to get a shot through the steel of Screamin of the work on the park. They have planted some trees nearest the coaster. No other visible progress from this angle.
  • Page Number: 41
The detail work on the rock is great.
