A look over at the Disneyland Hotel work from the parking structure. You can see quite a few of the new windows are in on the Wonder tower now.
Looking down into the parking lot, a couple CM trams
Some trams parked in the distance.
  • Page Number: 2
The current (new as of last week) Disneyland ticket prices.
Was this track recently cleaned? It looked so, or maybe it was just the lighting..
  • Page Number: 3
Still tickets for the last show of the evening and it was after 1pm.
I liked the tape to direct people
A long line for GRR, well only a 50 min wait but the entrance was backed up.
  • Page Number: 4
A look at the Mermaid work, from the side nearest the restrooms
  • Page Number: 5
    Around front.
    Not much visible progress here.
    The bay is still brown.
  • Page Number: 6
Over at Cars Land the mesh for the rock work is making its around.
Looks like the concrete is sprayed on for this section.
    A closer look
  • Page Number: 7
A better shot of the concrete
  • Page Number: 8
    Now from the Fun Wheel
So looking at this it looks like the pieces sticking up are just for the safety railing? Does that mean the rock work is stopping at the base of that (and those will be cut off)..
  • Page Number: 9
Not much has changed here with Flos, or at least that we can see from this distance.
  • Page Number: 10
The exterior wall is partially up the west side of the Little Mermaid building.
Still working around the front of the building with some large holes.
  • Page Number: 11
Scaffolding on the roof as they work to put up the rest of the exterior.
Bouncing back to Cars Land, the roof for the main show building is on.
Looks like the concrete foundations are being poured for the other side of the street.
  • Page Number: 12
    Panning to the right.
Looks like all the footers are in and the area is ready for the steel now. Notice all the bolts sticking up.
  • Page Number: 13
On the far side looks like the steel is being put together and readied to be installed.
    A closer look
  • Page Number: 14
A wide shot of the Mermaid Work
    Back to Cars Land
  • Page Number: 15
Are those circular structures for the Cones? Or something else..
Spotted the Muppet ship backstage still.
The steel is growing each week.. it is an impressive structure and there is still another side to go.

Thought I would take a shot toward the farm area since this will be closing in a few weeks.
  • Page Number: 18
Back on the ground time to check out the Maliboomer area, only a few weeks left before the walls go up here too.

Guess they gave up on the second surf board since this area will be gone soon.
    No visible progress here.
  • Page Number: 25
No umbrellas out today (and the play fountain was off too)
Spotted this green clump of something floating in the bay (more on this later as there was quite a bit floating in the bay).
    Little Mermaid from the Zephyr

    Another clump in the bay
A couple random platform shots since the center one was up again, as usual.
  • Page Number: 29
The rock work from the Wharf
Decided to take some pictures of the Farm area since it was not crowded and only a few weeks left.
  • Page Number: 30
    The army men drove by.
  • Page Number: 31
  • Page Number: 32
Hopefully the truck finds a new home..
  • Page Number: 33
Just as PT Fleas will be. (If you missed it in the Blue Sky Cellar it shows this building being moved over near Goofys Sky School to be part of the dining location).
    A look around the inside.

A shot of Tower (it is Friday the 13th after all)
Some of the tarps/wall are down on the connector, but the main wall is still up, so it is closed but you can see in now.
  • Page Number: 41
A couple shots through the new opening, notice the back of the wall by Tower.
Trying to get the tracks and brick work.
The rock work that acts as the transition.
  • Page Number: 42
    One more look
Now jumping around to the other side (nothing interesting on the walk through the park) you can see the new gates are installed and painted.
  • Page Number: 43
    The other side.
    No visible progress here.
Random Glow Fest set up shot.
  • Page Number: 44
    The waits around 3:20pm
As I entered Fantasyland I ran into a line.. at the front of this was Sleeping Beauty.
    Another shot..
  • Page Number: 45
Alice has reopened, with temporary rails around the outdoor portion of the ride.
    The line was long...
Not sure it was 40 minutes, but it was long and wrapped a lot so maybe that is true.
  • Page Number: 46
Disney is working on a permanent solution but until that is settled on and time allocated to install we get this temporary structure with leaves on it.
  • Page Number: 47
Out to Toontown where the tree house is behind walls.
  • Page Number: 48
    The clock/horns were going off
And Goofy came bouncing out. Did Disney change their policy on this? I thought they really worked hard so you could not see the character in two places at the same time more or less..
Goofy was performing in the parade only a couple hundred yards away at the same time.
  • Page Number: 49
Hopped on Small World to avoid the Street Party crowd.
Are some dolls missing here.. seemed rather empty.
    Wonder what tore this.
  • Page Number: 50
  • Page Number: 51
Back to Alice to get the other side (but not all the way since it was still blocked off due to the Street Party)
  • Page Number: 52
Still no buoy or sea gulls.
  • Page Number: 53
Star Tours now has walls up around the entrance and Fastpass area.
  • Page Number: 54
Custodial must be counting the days till the Street Party and confetti drops end.
A crowd had gathered for the College Band (today was their last day for the season)
  • Page Number: 55
  • Page Number: 56
If you would like to hear any of the band I have several clips from this year on our Youtube channel - http://youtube.com/disneygeekcom
Ron acknowledged several of the College Band support team that were in the audience today.

Back to Alice... An extension to the castle wall.

    The Flag Retreat.
Fast Pass signs still up and it was pushing 6:00pm. Guessing there were still passes available or did they just forget to bring in the signs.
Cars Land from the parade route
  • Page Number: 61
Warming up the fountains (well cycling some tests).
The brown water as well as more things floating in it (any biologists out there that can identify what it is..)
  • Page Number: 62
Still no light on the bottom left.
Working on one of the spot lights, looked to be replacing something.
The barriers that were out had these plain covers, no more World of Color logos.
  • Page Number: 63
A couple last Mermaid shots as I walked by.
  • Page Number: 64
Stopped by the Blue Sky Cellar, nothing new jumped out.
  • Page Number: 65
    Walked by Glow Fest.
    Greetings from California
  • Page Number: 66
    The waits around 6:50pm
A new sign for the Candy store (I read this will be swapped out for something to do with Tangled in the Fall)
  • Page Number: 67
    The crowd gathering for Fantasmic
The College Band at Plaza Gardens
  • Page Number: 68
In Tomorrowland thought this was funny how they had the ropes trying to keep the traffic flowing.
Stellar at Tomorrowland Terrace (the guide said Reunion was to be playing).
  • Page Number: 69
    The 8:00pm set.
  • Page Number: 70
There was no wait for Pirates and I had some requests for shots, so here are a couple pages of Pirate shots.
    The Captain
  • Page Number: 71
    The auctioneer
  • Page Number: 72
The prisoner who is whistling was recently updated.
  • Page Number: 73
Time for Fantasmic, the lift looked to be down. Mickey ran on stage at the beginning. Here is a video of the opening sequence, but due to the camera I had with no zoom it is not that good..
  • Page Number: 74
The dragon ran with no problems, but no eels during the Ursala segment.
  • Page Number: 75
Tried to get around to a good spot to see the laser effects at the finale, but in the process goofed up my settings and did not notice it.

Made it around to Main Street for Magical
  • Page Number: 78
The 2010 All American College Band performed an encore set at 10:15 to close out their season.
A couple shots from the show. I ended up watching and not taking too many pictures...
  • Page Number: 79
To close with a video of the their last medley featuring the music of Earth, Wind, and Fire!
