A shot from the escalator.. notice the lack of buses today.. were they being directed to another lot or was it just not that busy (from a bus perspective) today.
First stop DCA.. a look at the Little Mermaid building...
    From the front.

High School Musical 3 has taken over the Palisades Stage at Paradise Pier Park today.
They were using 3 of the sound/light towers from World of Color for the audio (as well as the other speakers in the park)
There was a an ok sized crowd and a lot of TDA/entertainment folks roaming around.
  • Page Number: 3
Thanks to the sound system in the park the performance was definitely crisp/clear/and loud.

No Fun Wheel this trip around, the line was too long, so no idea what is happening beyond the tarps (till later this evening)
Over by the Toy Story photo op noticed the characters that were on the fence are gone.
  • Page Number: 8
The lights are in the way of my Mermaid shots..
After the show the CMs had to fish the streamers out of the bay.
  • Page Number: 9
The out door gift shop has moved across the way (my guess so this area can be used for World of Color viewing)
Its new location (also looks to be a few racks smaller).
As you can see they center platform is still at show level (I have seen it raised but never lower for what seems a couple months now).
  • Page Number: 10
Between shows the stage is left as is.
Noticed the pipe that we spotted Saturday is connected to a pump truck, smelled like tar or something similar which is being used on the roof.

Wonder if the top of the tower is going to receive anything else.. it looks so plain now. It would be nice to see a traditional sign come back.
There was a DJ set up near Rain Forest for the event.
    More tents.

In front of the AMC there was a skate park set up. When we walked by these two were playing around but not doing anything too interesting or impressive.

    Moving on to the Hotel.
Work on the left side of the tower is progressing.
On the completed tower thought it was funny that they did not put the outdoor signage back since the name will be changing, so instead a small sign on the doors.
  • Page Number: 21
Soon this will all be gone...
    The shops were all closed.
