    The DVC booth from the backlot has relocated due to the Red Car work.
    The fountain is filled and running again.
    Walls have gone up on the backlot as the street is redone for the red cars.

    The sidewalks are open on both sides, here is the one nearest Playhouse Disney. Which has a new addition to it (better pictures toward the end of this update).
    There are plenty of signs to tell you where to go as well as what is coming up (also the walls are covered to make it look like a fence).
    Looks like the Backlot is going to be called Hollywood Land once all the work is done

    A new Annual Pass processing center has opened in part of the old Hollywood and Dine

    Not much in the courtyard
    Inside there is a small queue are then a half dozen stations. It was not busy at all when I stopped by (maybe two or three groups)

    More walls up between the Hyperion queue and Tower of Terrors area.
    Again they covered the construction wall to make it look much nicer than the regular walls
    The new walkway is open to get from Tower of Terror to Bugsland.

    My guess/assumption is the center part is set up to open so the parade can get through (as well as access for after hours work.
    Here you can see where they cut the wall. Also this construction wall is why I am guessing they are still working on it.

    By the AMC/ESPN side of Downtown Disney the banners feature Goofy
    Glanced at the Compass Books kiosk and noticed something missing... books.. I saw some magazines but mostly it seemed to be a drug store type kiosk.

    While waiting for some friends to exit Autopia it dawned on me they have both left hand and right hand drive cars.. the steering wheel is always on the outside from where you enter the car.. that never registered before.

    This seemed really poor.. this was on the side of the Mad Hatter facing the Tea Cups.. right next to a door that kids can walk up to for pictures (notice the kid on the left).

    Noticed several CMs in work gear. They were recruiting volunteers for the new Honorary Voluntears Cavalcade (this pre-parade runs 15 min utes before the last parade of the day).

    A little after 6:20 the gate opened, announcement played and this sign came out. Then the music stopped and it retreated. The gate closed and the announcement false started one more time.
    Spotted several Disney folks around for the premiere.. here is Denny Newel who is a Senior Show Director for many of the parades and entertainment offerings at the Disneyland Resort.

    Finally around 6:30 it stepped off and got rolling.

    Headed back down Main Street just as the Street Party was wrapping up the first stop
    They were cycling a couple rafts at GRR
    Headed out to the Pier to see if they were testing anything and noticed the lights on the new structure.
