A fairly healthy crowd in Downtown Disney
  • Page Number: 7
Still no real crowds at the Holiday Faire
    Noticed the sign this time.
The queues for the ticket booths were fairly full but not overfull. They were walking groups over to the far booths.
  • Page Number: 8
The line for the Cafe was out the door and stretched for quite a ways (it was about a 20 minute wait)
Over to the World of Color work now.
  • Page Number: 9
Quite a few workers out on the site
    And Platform
Finally visible progress from across the bay, notice the poles we spotted Friday are installed.

This sign is on the gift shop near GRR
Thought it was odd the trashcans were out so far.
Back to the Bay now.. the water is getting a little harder to see through.. not sure if its dye or just the water changing color.

Waited a little over 30 min for Toy Story.. was pleased with my score
Especially when I saw it posted as the 2nd best so far (of course I would guess this did not last long)
  • Page Number: 12
A closer look at the poles
  • Page Number: 13
    There are two different tops
Nothing really happening with the elevator
The walls were pushed back slightly by the Jellyfish entrance, so you can again walk out to the Bay there. Here is the new pavement.
  • Page Number: 14
A closer look at the swings
    A look around the wall.
  • Page Number: 15
A closer look at the new poles
Guess this is where the second level will be.

    A random platform shot
The weights are gone from this area.
  • Page Number: 17
They were pouring concrete at the Little Mermaid site (no pictures since it was a 45 min wait for the Fun Wheel)

The projector housing have projectors in them now.
A new group performing (or at least new to me) on the Backlot
  • Page Number: 19
Stopped by the Tower of Terror area
Looks like the trees have been cleared on the Bugsland side of the new walkway.
A healthy wait for Tower today.
  • Page Number: 20
The backlot had a lot of people, especially considering no Aladdin shows today.
Looking over to Disneyland, the flags are still at half staff.
They were cleaning up from the Tubas (the website lied.. it said 2-5pm.. this was taken around 3:30 and as you can see its over).
  • Page Number: 21
A look at the stroller rental location
  • Page Number: 22

  • Page Number: 23
Managed to get the effect shot.
  • Page Number: 24
Wow a big wait for Indy (I heard it was down earlier so maybe that had something to do with it).
Taken just a few minutes later, guess they have not updated Indys time yet.
Noticed this large tent up next to the bakery. No visible signs of what is inside.
  • Page Number: 25
    Thought this sign was good..
There was a bread card right outside the Bakery.
Over to the Bay now and they were doing more World of Color Testing. The center 1/3 of the platform was submerged.
  • Page Number: 26
The center screen was on, but at a low power level.. not really spraying.
There was one working playing with a projection dome on the left 1/3.
A view of what the show level looks like.
  • Page Number: 27
Two of the projector housing were open.
A look into the control room..
They fired up the front screen(s)
  • Page Number: 28
It only ran for a short time then was off again..
They then cycled on the platform projectors (the six on the center platform - 2 in each of three housings)
  • Page Number: 29
Then the four in the two housings were cycled on.
Then a test grid appeared. Wonder if those lines are supposed to align.. if so they have a ways to go on the alignment.
  • Page Number: 30
    A color test?
Over by Screamin looks like all the lights along the launch area are now on.
Roz decked out for the holidays.
