We start off this brief update at the ESPN Zone. Several months ago they upgraded all the TVs to be HD and they look great.
A look into the Studio room reveals another large TV on the far wall (it has been a long time, I would say over a year since my last visit so this may have been around for a while).

Painting is proceeding on the Disneyland Hotel (also notice the Downtown Disney tree in the foreground)
Some work on the bridge at DD, could not tell what was going on.
  • Page Number: 3
A new store opened next to the MisMatched one
  • Page Number: 4
I only managed to take two pictures before being asked not to take any as it was there policy of no pictures inside the store.
The framing for the new stroller rental location.
  • Page Number: 5
There was a nice line to get into DCA, my guess was people heading over for the parade.
The walkway near the winery is blocked off at the Wharf due to work up ahead.
There is a sign directing you through the Wharf and around the work.

The sun was fairly low by this point.
Here you can see more walls up where the actual work on the parade route is going on.
New palm trees in around the fountain
  • Page Number: 7
Even though there are more walls up the Coffee cart remains open.
You now go through a small wall walkway to get to the Bay Area (walking on the Pier side of the fountain structure)
The water level in the Bay is up again and the platform was floating.

A better shot, here you can see it is off the supports.
The viewing area does not show much progress from this angle
  • Page Number: 9
They were taking apart the bridge to the platform (or at least the last piece that connected to the platform was removed)
Not much visible progress out at the swings.
Here you can see the new trees and if you look carefully you can see the new walkway that curves around them (follow the lights).

There was an ODV cart set up near Santa now.
Water was being added to the Bay.
  • Page Number: 11
A better shot. From what I have gathered on other websites this is the feed line for filling.
Here you can see the piece of the bridge that has been removed.
While looking at the platform something else jumped out at me.. notice the railings or cable that formed the railing has been removed. The vertical pieces are there but nothing between them.
  • Page Number: 12
    No real visible progress here.
  • Page Number: 13
Mounds of dirt being moved around in the old SS Rustworthy area and the Swings.
Looking through the tarp you could see somem ore forms up but nothing else really.
  • Page Number: 14
Noticed a couple of the fountain LEDs were on. Notice the red on them.
The work between the Zephyr and Jellyfish is moving along slowly.
  • Page Number: 15
Looks like the forms are being set up for the Mermaid foundation.
  • Page Number: 16
Here is a much better shot showing there is no safety rail around the platform.
The new walkway that is open (the fountain structure is on the left and that lighter color wall is new, the blue wall was pushed back further)
  • Page Number: 17
More new wall blocking the work on the parade route
    Back to the new walkway
The wall curves around the fountain and back to the Pier entrance (if you kept following it to the left you would end up at the Coffee cart if that helps)

  • Page Number: 19
Here is a good shot of the new Palm trees that finish the circle around the new fountain area
Stopped by the Grand Californian next, no sign of the Christmas tree yet.
    Out front of the hotel.
  • Page Number: 20
Looking over at the renovation work at the Disneyland Hotel
The courtyard/pool facing side of the tower.
  • Page Number: 21
    The Downtown Disney tree.
