A younger/smaller horse was out pulling the streetcar today.
I found it odd several stores were closed at this was around 9am (park opened at 8am). I saw no hours posted. The Music Store, Magic Store, and Disneyana all were closed still (later in the day they were all open).
  • Page Number: 4
Still working on the bridge near the castle
Looks like this bridge could use some paint too.
Upon entering Fantasyland we were greeted with bubbles
  • Page Number: 5
As well as quite a few guests already. Peter Pan was over half an hour.

Mickey is somewhere in that crowd
Donald waiting to cross the street.
  • Page Number: 15
They were expecting large crowds Sunday. Even Annual Passholders were required to have handstamps.
Over at DCA it was less crowded (of course the park does not open for 20 minutes still).
  • Page Number: 16
Noticed a light or some was removed from this area.
Still odd to walk out to the Bay Area and have a view like this.
Work is progressing on the new fountain.
  • Page Number: 17
The rails are going up near the start of the Screamin Launch area. Best guess are these are to keep any World of Color boats away from the coaster.
The rockwork is still being painted. That is quite a bit of white...
The orange peel of the Orange Stinger is now completely gone.
  • Page Number: 18
The shops are not open yet (it is just before 10am, they walked the Toy Story line out about quarter till).
    My score (the blue)
  • Page Number: 19
My theory of get on early and you have a small shot at a high score worked again (bet it was passed in a few minutes since the other scores of the day were already so much higher and there were maybe 50 people in front of us.
Two new trees in the viewing area (wonder if these came from the old Golden Dreams area).
  • Page Number: 20

  • Page Number: 24
A look at the new backstage buildings on the edge of Cars Land
    Starting on the left
  • Page Number: 25
A look at the World of Color equipment backstage
The far side of Cars Land looks to have the perimeter fence done and pipes going in soon.
  • Page Number: 26
A section of the World of Color platform is open. Wonder if there was a problem or if this is for some piece of equipment?
Another section from above, looks like some cable tracks were put in.
  • Page Number: 27
The black plastic units under the platform look to have all been removed. I thought those were used to help make the platform more buoyant.
    A closer look
  • Page Number: 28
More rebar and forms are in on this one section of the swings base
  • Page Number: 29
    A look from the Zephyr
Work continues on the viewing area of the Grand CA, wonder if those hanging things are lights or heaters or something else...
Spotted some bolts nearby, no sign of what is going to be attached here.
  • Page Number: 30
The viewing area from the Pier bridge
A design was installed on one of the posts.
Some stairs (or ramp) taking shape.

Stopped by Greetings from California to pick up a picture (the free one for having a Disney Visa)
  • Page Number: 40
  • Page Number: 41
Walked out of DCA and saw the line to get into Disneyland stretched almost to the California letters so turned around and walked back into DCA which had no line at all.
But the crowd in the park was picking up.
Spotted the new Army Man band (not sure their official name) out in the Bay Area)
  • Page Number: 42
  • Page Number: 43
A random shot from King Tritons
Spotted a couple holes in the parade building visible from near Screamin (not sure if those have always been there or not but they looked odd to me).
  • Page Number: 44
There was tape down on the Wharf Bridge... took a second then realized that was a viewing area for the Pixar Play Parade.
Back over to Disneyland. Some Halloween merchandise is out.
  • Page Number: 45
In the distance notice the good size crowd watching the Street Parry
Behind the party the CMs waiting to clean up the mess
  • Page Number: 46
Noticed some of the new pavement on Main Street was already showing some signs of wear
    The lighted balloons by day...
As we were leaving (a little after 7) there was still a healthy line to buy tickets.
