I was able to be part of a media tour of the model rooms and the construction site for the Villas at the Grand Californian. Here we are outside the model rooms (this building is locoated behind the Wonder Tower of the Disneyland Hotel and the exterior is from the Saratoga Springs model if I remember correctly).

    More prep work going on
A great classic sign at the entrance to the hallway
Then we headed across the street for a hard hat tour of the construction site... sorry no pictures were allowed, but in my Geekspeaks column this weekend I will offer some thoughts and my attempt at describing what we saw.

The circle that was once Mickeys face is now being repainted (or disassmbled, hard to tell)
    A closer look

Pop Corn buckets for sale on the Pier.. I do not understand why they cannot be park specific.. especially for the price you pay
