Today we start off at the Anaheim Garden Walk (my first visit to the area).
The parking lot is well marked and was easier to get around.
If you wish to skip to the Disneyland Pictures go to page 13 now

Looking around everything looked great but something was missing...
People... it was noon and there were very few other people around.
The next several pages are shots as I walked through the area.

The shops are mostly on the second level and upstairs on the third level were the dining options. Downstairs on the first was the gym and bowling alley.
  • Page Number: 6
There were still quite a few shops not built/open.
Upstairs there was a fair selection of dining choices.

Another parking lot entrance, this one closest to the theaters.
    Coming soon..
The dining area for the food court, again it was a ghost town.

Saw this so we headed there for lunch.

And of course an ATM near each parking lot entrance.
Now I am walking back to the entrance we came in.

On the way out noticed you can pay for parking before entering the garage and your car...
Off to Disneyland. The traffic line was backed up almost all the way to Ball road. Here is a shot rounding the bend to approach the garage.
I took this opportunity to get some shots of the new banners (they have been up for a while but due to me driving and not stopping I never had the chance to get pictures)

Noticed this area down to the studs (this is under one of the ramps to the right when you enter)
    Still waiting in line
Surpised the digital board does not have the new slogan on it.
  • Page Number: 16
Quite a few people at the tram stop
Speaking of trams, out of use trams/shuttles
A solid line to get into Downtown Disney too
  • Page Number: 17
Noticed the celebrate logo on the hotels hat too
  • Page Number: 18
A lot of people buying tickets still (and it was after 1pm now)
I do not remember this door to the left when you go to enter the Blue Sky Cellar, its probably been there all along but it seemed new to me

I had several requests for closer shots of the signs on the construction walls, so here are a few

Well its only been two days, so not much has changed, more equipment in the Bay though.

  • Page Number: 28
The stage at the Tomorrowland Terrace was being worked on, shows were still going on, just not using the elevator
Great to see the street cars out in the late afternoon, usually due to the parade they are gone by now for the day
Some shots along the Big Thunder Trail
  • Page Number: 29
The petting zoo area was open
  • Page Number: 30
Noticed some scaffolding up near the stage area
No real visible progress on the new pavement
The temporary smoking area.. too bad they just did not remove it.. having to walk through it was annoying.
