    As we were heading to the Disneyland hotel spotted this Disneyland fire truck out (it appeared they were just making the rounds)
    Heading over to the hotel we wandered if they would ever use this bus stop? Besides for overflow and some special events...

    Spotted this security car, not sure when the new car were rolled out but think it was November/December...
    Downtown Disney still has holiday banners up, not the new Celebration promotion...

    There were no real signs of Christmas left at the Disneyland hotel.
    In the store there was some new 2009 merchandise that I did not see in December (I did not look either)

    Also there seemed to be about a handful of sale displays

    The walls are all down in this area (bet they were by Thanksgiving but I just have not been out this way)

    No one visiting the Vacation club kiosk this morning..
    This is kind of sad.. they scrapped the sticker off but not the glue?
    The Downtown Disney tree was still up.

    Noticed Monorail red already showing a little wear and tear.. notice the piece hanging from the open door..

    The new/tinted windows really mess with your picture color during the day.
    Even though it was in the 50s there were still people in the hotel pool across Harbor

    Disneyland was still decked out for the holidays

    Over near DCAs entrance there was a stand set up still selling Rose Bowl merchandise
    They had USC championship merchandise.

    Noticed something new next to the train in DCA
    Looks to be a shelter for the wild cats that live there.
    Out in Condor Flats the Cars Meet and Greet was open.

    Next up headed out to the Pier
    The sun face is gone from the Sun Wheel.
    Along the walkway there is now a sign up showing the World of Color show, this is the backside

    No real explanation except to say its coming soon.

    The gift shops along the Pier were still closed.
    Toy story was open and using the extended queue
    Even though it was only 40 minutes (really only 30)

    Looking over the railing into the drained bay you can now see markings of where the work is going to start soon.

    Notice anything missing? The crane for the DVC work is gone. (I checked and this was gone in my 12/14 pictures too I just did not notice it).
    My score is the blue one.. I think a personal best...
    Work on the midway games facade is moving along slowly.

    Looks like some of the old queue is being removed, or at least a couple railings.

    There seems to have been no real progress on the painting or at least that I could see through the scaffolding.

    Heading down the Big Thunder Trail noticed this in the middle of the bridge.

    No flowers, just grass around the flag pole today.
    Almost a cool shot but the monorail was a bit ahead or the parade float a bit behind...

    Someone messed with the Toy Story sign, but I thought it was funny.. the line was really about 40 minutes
    Kind of sad with the big black area... this was my first time there at night since the construction started.
