  • Page Number: 1
No car of the day in the spot near the escalators, wonder if they are using these spots or not, I have never seen one parked here
The tram stop is not too crowded
    Nor are the ticket windows
  • Page Number: 2
Looks like there was a crowd, they have an extended queue for the ticket windows taped to the ground
Once in DCA though you could tell the parks were crowded
A look toward the Toy Story Manai work
  • Page Number: 3
Still no progress on this peeling paint on the Pier
The Screamin queue was the longest I have seen in a long time
Still under an hour though (that says 55 minute)
  • Page Number: 4
The Orange Stinger had about a half hour line
All three towers were working once again on the Maliboomer
    Spotted these MSEP elements backstage
  • Page Number: 5
Here is a better shot of the Screamin line and the crowd in general
Looks like they are getting ready to start vertical construction on the front/queue building/facade of Toy Story Mania, I am assuming all these holes are for the footers the steelwork will sit on. (And for some reason I goofed up and managed to get the cage from the sun wheel in all my shots this week)
The building behind Screamin is coming along, be sure to check the Construction Progress section Sunday for a more in depth look at the work.
  • Page Number: 6
This would be a great shot if the ODV cart and the light pole were gone...
More painting in the Bay Area
Looks like just the base area is being repainted this time around
  • Page Number: 7
    A healthy wait for GRR
  • Page Number: 8
NExt up Disneyland, the painting work on the entrance/exit turnstyles is now complete
Minnie hanging out in front of the now open Disneyland Railroad
  • Page Number: 9
Work still continues on the backstage gate on Main Street
  • Page Number: 10
The Jedi Academy is still playing to full houses every show I walk by
Looks like the signs on the wall have been replaced or at least repaired/cleaned (or was it just a good lighting day)
  • Page Number: 11
A new pipe has sprung up where there used to be that hole and cut pipe, this one goes the length of the building (look for a shot or two in a couple pages)
    Looking down the monorail beam
  • Page Number: 12
Not much happening backstage at Disneyland
The logs are still all out along the Indy show building
Wonder what the planter looking things are for
  • Page Number: 13
Here is a better shot of that pipe, you can see it suspended from the building
Look for a more comphrensive look at the lagoon work Sunday in the Construction Progress section
The bubbles were on in the lagoon
  • Page Number: 14
The grass/ground cover is starting to grow throughout the old motorboat canals
The buoy we spotted last trip is now out in the lagoon (Disney released photos showing the Seegulls being installed but no sign of them)
  • Page Number: 15
Noticed the twist icee available in Fantasyland too (spotted this over at DCA a few visits ago)
Wow, that is a long wait for Cartoon Spin
  • Page Number: 16
Minnie out for pictures, near her house
The work on the pipe organ by Dumbo is finished
  • Page Number: 17
The glare was terrible, I need to retake these, but you will get the drift
  • Page Number: 18
Wonder why the cover for the queue was not up
Are those fish in the water, I cannot remember the last time I spotted fish there
Still no sign of the projectors for the castle, guess they are gone
  • Page Number: 19
The swans had ventured out to the main part of the moat/lake
  • Page Number: 20
They had crowd control measures in place, Adventureland was exit only
    The line board around 4:30pm
  • Page Number: 21
    A look down Main Street
    The Flag Retreat
  • Page Number: 22
This area was open as extended seating, which very few people were taking advantage of
In the mensroom noticed the Christmas tree was still out
  • Page Number: 23
The other area was closed already since it was nearing dusk
  • Page Number: 24
Work continues on the building in front of the ranch
The cave looks complete now (also walked by at night and the lights are now on too)
    Now some island shots
  • Page Number: 25
It is really hard to make out anything worth while from this angle
  • Page Number: 26
The new building near the cave that is visible from the Columbia looks to be complete
Some work going on near the fort
  • Page Number: 27
The raft dock is being worked on to, my guess to better handle the anticipated crowds this summer
One obvious addition is the mast to the left of the building on the island
  • Page Number: 28
Looks like something is covered or awaiting installation
The doors are blocked off, guess that is to keep the workers away from the Fantasmic stuff?
  • Page Number: 29
The Mark Twain is still down for rehab
  • Page Number: 30
Here is how the mast is attached to the ground
Not sure what this is, but my guess is for the new stunt show that is going to be taking place on the stage
  • Page Number: 31
  • Page Number: 32
Splash Mountain is still being worked on and not much has changed since the last trip in the visible areas
Looks like the river bank/wall is being repaired at the far end of the Country Bear
  • Page Number: 33
    Two ducks were fighting
The rescue craft is no longer docked in view
The Pooh clock is not operating anymore
  • Page Number: 34
The Hungry Bear was closed, the park was crowded but still this closed at 4ish.
Painting the railings near the bridge in front of Splash Mountain
  • Page Number: 35
Notice the headlights on the rafts, guess they are using these for construction work at night
  • Page Number: 36
The Gallery was closed and the signs say for a new exhibit, even though the current one is only a couple months old..
  • Page Number: 37
The Treehouse is closed for work too
  • Page Number: 38
  • Page Number: 39
A good wait for Indy this evening
This building in Frontierland is now finished, last trip it was under wraps

But the stores are still open
  • Page Number: 41
    Just liked this shot..

    One last treehouse shot
The walls in Tomorrowland near the new store are down and they opened a new vending location there
  • Page Number: 43
  • Page Number: 44
    Waiting for the monorail
Noticed all the character banners on this hotel
  • Page Number: 45
Spotted a sign for the Submarine Filter Plant waiting to be hung backstage (the shutter was set wrong but you get the drift)
There were nearly a dozen people on the sub dock and they all got in that sub and it started to pull out (that is all I could see before the monorail trip ended)
Here you can sort of see the grass/ground cover in the motorboat area
  • Page Number: 46
The Autopia clock was stopped too.
Some painting going on near the Tomorrowland Train Station
Now a series of shots from the Columbia of the work on the island
  • Page Number: 47

Here is the work near the fort
  • Page Number: 51
Looks like a new structure of some sort going in, wonder if this will be a new cave
  • Page Number: 52
    Some work along the riverbank
Now some shots of the area that is walled off and drained where the barrel bridge used to be
Looks like there will be a sunk boat in the water
  • Page Number: 53
    And something else
  • Page Number: 54
    A random Tiki Room shot
The lightpole has returned in front of City Hall as you go to exit the park
But turning toward the Fire Station that one is now gone
