Monsters Inc is everywhere.. for being a soft opening its really being pushed.. I even saw a billboard along the I-5 on the way home.

Almost all signs of the holidays are gone..
Now a series of shots around the Hollywood Studios portion of the backlot, some may be similiar to the 25th update, but most will be different, I think..

So that was my experiment, thought the result was fairly good..
The Redwood Creek area is down for rehab so the characters were along the walkway for pictures
Headed to the Grand Californian next.. heard a low rumbling sound as I approached the pool area.. could make out a lift through the trees (more shots later)

The arcade and health club are both closed as the area is remodeled
Now into the Lobby. The painting appears to be done and temporary carpet is in.
  • Page Number: 24
This shot came out too dark, but on the left is a curtain hiding equipment and on the right a row of plants hiding a hose that was being usesd to circulate freshened air. The machines were working you really could not smell the burned smell.. the air was slightly off, but not that bad really.
    The ceiling has been repainted
Just a random shot of the front desk.
  • Page Number: 25
Went upstairs and looked outside you could see all the equipment..
They are repainting the balconies (part of a regular rehab project I believe)

    A random Tower shot
A DVC cart out on the walkway to Tower, across from the Hyperion queue.. I think there are now 4 or 5 of these around the resort.. seems like a lot to me, but I guess they must be selling the timeshares to keep on adding carts
Tinkerbell on the Smoothie Menu (a couple updates ago we spotted her on a menu out in the Wharf area too.
