Approaching our first stop, DCA, no line really..
Has anyone seen this sign move in the last year?
  • Page Number: 2
New signs for the Wharf Stage
In an attempt to draw more people to the area.
  • Page Number: 3
All the 4th of July 'decorations' are out.
The photo area on the wharf is blocked off.
The seating area now has a temporary cover, not more umbrellas
  • Page Number: 4
The stage too, plus new decorations
The view of the stage is greatly improved now.
  • Page Number: 5
  • Page Number: 6
The park was fairly busy and this was still closed..
  • Page Number: 7
    Speaking of closed..
Still no real signs of progress here
  • Page Number: 8
You would think at least they would have all the solar reflectors pointing the same direction, even though they have not worked in what seems years now..
A couple shots of the conclusion of the new mini show out front of the Animation Building
It seemed to draw a nice crowd and several guests followed the characters into the building.
  • Page Number: 9
The new speakers look good too.
Stictch on a laptop bag in the TT giftshop, no other Stitch sighting though.
Never understood why there was one rack of non-Tower items in the middle of the walkway..
  • Page Number: 10
We heard some online rumors of Superstar Limo signs being removed..
They looked intact for the most part and our memory..
  • Page Number: 11
A new tree possible? Or just one that needed some help?
Goofy hanging out in the backlot, I thought it was great how the CMs were interacting with the characters and had props.. that really added to it, vs. having the just stand to the side
  • Page Number: 12
Ms. Piggy and here CM guide..
New Fry containers at Award Weiners
Now over to Disneyland and some Main Street shots of buildings that have recently been repainted.
  • Page Number: 13
  • Page Number: 14
And here you can see where they are working now (the corner camera shop).
  • Page Number: 15
  • Page Number: 16
  • Page Number: 17
All the walls are down here, but the inside is closed, the passholder center is now the Space Mountain photo area..
Now some shots of the Castle in its current state (walls will be going up soon..)
  • Page Number: 18
Now here is something interesting. Notice this side of the castle and its worn look.
Stepping aroudn the corner you can see the paint samples for what it will look like..
Much brighter and almost new looking
  • Page Number: 19
  • Page Number: 20
    The queue cover is back
The Dumbo buildings are under wraps..
    But the attraction remains open.
  • Page Number: 21
Alice in Wonderland is down still
I think the re-emergence of a large number of custom signs is great...
Alice and the gang were hanging out in front of Matterhorn.
  • Page Number: 22
The sub lagoon and its old railing..
Which will be gone by next year (the railing, not lagoon)
And the old pavement, look at the new in the top corner
  • Page Number: 23
Where the old rail meets the new rail
    Repainted lights..
    Old lights..
  • Page Number: 24
No visible progress down the alley
Wow people in Tomorrowland and no walls.
The Radio Disney signs are long gone..
  • Page Number: 25
Signs guiding guests to the AP center.
  • Page Number: 26
Kind of funny, they took the queue posts from Main Street... guess the concept of show is gone..
  • Page Number: 27
Wonder why they do not have a sign or anything up yet for Buzz... seems like they should.
  • Page Number: 28
New cash registers in Coke Corner.
They do not fit the cases, the screens are not visible to guests through the slot anymore..
  • Page Number: 29
Some shots of the 04 College Band
  • Page Number: 30

Grad night light sets up in front of the Castle
The College Band in front of the Castle performing.
  • Page Number: 38
Here is something we never notice. Look the Star Tours show building has a facade painted on to match Main Street (that's not new to us)
But if you pan a little left, the building's part that sticks into Tomorrowland has nothing at all on it..
The sign over the entrance to Haunted Mansion is gone...
  • Page Number: 39
The sign for the Disneyland Rose, which is around the Flag Pole. When at WDW at the Rose Walk that is part of the Flower & Garden Festival I asked where the Disneyland Rose was and they looked at me blankly. Here is the proof it exists.
