Trip Log:

Started off my Disneyland Resort adventure today checking into the Grand California for two nights. Pulled up, checked in, unloaded the bags, and parked the car before heading up to a room. Had a great room looking out into the Park. After getting settled headed for DCA. Walked through Condor Flats and around Carthay Circle. Made my way down Hollywood Blvd and into Bugs. Walked through Fliks and then up the parade route by the Blue Sky Cellar. Made a quick detour to the media center in the parade warehouse then back out to the park and skirted Paradise Pier. Walked around GRR and out to the front entrance. The plan was to head for Disneyland but ran into some friends and looped back around GRR and through the Grand Californian then Downtown Disney to get to Disneyland. Made it down Main Street before it was time to head back to the room to prepare for the evening. Grabbed my gear and headed to DCA to work on a spot for the Red Carpet. After the carpet made my way down to where the opening ceremony was. Found a spot for that and watched the brief show before being let into Cars Land. Wandered down Route 66 sampling some food and checked out the Racers line, it was about 30 minutes so figured I would try later. Doubled back to the Flying Tires which had no line at all then worked our way through the Cozy Cones sampling things then across to Flos to do the same. At this point it was nearing 10pm so bit the bullet and waited for the Racers which were now 50 minutes. After the Racers gave the Flying Tires one last try before calling it a night. Wandered back through Carthay Circle and made my way back to the Grand CA to call it a night.

Other Interesting Stats:
* Moderate Walking Stats (meaning over 2.5mph): 9,867 steps, 86 minutes.

For Comparisons to other trips or more park miles click here to visit our park Miles Section.

Note: These totals may be skewed because the pedometer is zero'd when we start and then left alone and read when we leave. So attractions, and other things may cause extra "steps" to be counted. The pedometer that we use basically measures up/down motion as a step, so if your standing in line and moving up and down it may be counting steps, etc.. so the total distances traveled and steps may be off.. so use these as rough distance comparisons between trips and they may not be accurate in terms of actual distance traveled.
