This is our first look inside the park for the Annual Passholdere preview day. Here is our original update (we put up much shorter updates...)

• 11/3/00 - DCA update from 11/3/00, just 3 months till our first look into the park during one of its AP Preview Days and a little over 3 months before its February 8th official opening.
• 11/17/00 - Getting closer to opening, finishing touches are starting to be applied to Downtown Disney in preparation for its opening in a little over a month.
• 11/24/00 - Downtown Disney is really taking shape with only weeks till opening.
• 12/16/00 - My final update from 2000 looks at the nearly finished park and you can see some CMs testing out some attractions in the park, with a little more than a month away.

• Wednesday, June 13, 2012: Part I - A look around my room at the Grand Californian then a quick trip through DCA to see the preparations for the festivities that kick off tonight and a very quick trip into Disneyland.
• Wednesday, June 13, 2012: Cars Land Premiere - The evening of the 13th featuring a Celebrity Red Carpet Arrivials, the Cars Land Premiere, then a Party to Celebrate Cars Land.
• Thursday, June 14, 2012: Evening - This evening there was a party on Buena Vista Street, then the Mad T Party, and we wrap up the evening with a special performance of World of Color featuring Glow with the Show Ears and the new Brave Segment.
• Friday, June 15, 2012: DCA Reopening - The Grand Reopening Ceremony and the walk out to the opening of Cars Land.

For the 2004 Tournament of Roses Parade Disney had a California Adventure float highlighting the soon to open Tower of Terror attraction. After the parade on the 1st the float was moved to Anaheim and put on display at California Adventure for a few days. Here are some pictures from the rainy first day in the park.

• Friday, March 28, 2014 - The Springtime Roundup kicked off this week with characters and a bunny hop. A check of the ongoing projects around the parks. Then a M5.1 earthquake within 10 miles of the park to cap off my night.

To kick off the summer Disneyland hosted a Monstrous Summer All-Nighter starting at 6am on May 24 and running until 6am on May 25th. I attended the first 14 hrs.

The evening before on 5/23/13 Mickey and the Magical Map Premiered at Disneyland.
