D23 Expo - Disney Interactive

Disney Interactive had a pavilion area on the main floor open all three days highlighting their new offerings and had an arena presentation mid-day on Sunday. The spotlight was on Disney Infinity, the Disney Animated App, Fantasia: Music Evolved as well as Blank a Vinylmation Love Story. Below are pictures from the pavilion. The arena presentation features demos of the three games as well as an extended clip from Blank.

• Blank a Vinylmation Love Story - This short film that takes you into the world of Vinylmation. For more information and a trailer - Jeanine attended an event announcing the short and posted a guest blog, click here
• Disney Animated App - This iPad app was released Thursday morning and takes you into the world of Disney Animation. You can learn about the animation process, explore your favorite films, or experiment with some interactive animation tools. Click here for my first impressions of this new app and a more detailed description.
• Fantasia: Music Evolved - This video game uses X-Box Kinect to let you control classic and contemporary music through your movement.

• Disney Infinity - A new gaming platform that allows you to take your favorite Disney characters and create or visit worlds for them to explore, play in, and interact with others. At the arena presentation on Sunday several new characters were announced (pictured above):
  • Toy Story Playset (Buzz, Jessie, and Woody)
  • Jack Skellington
  • Rapunzel
  • Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope
  • Anna and Elsa from “Frozen"
  • Sorcerer Mickey Mouse
  • Agent P and Phineas Flynn
