An overview from the Mickey and Friends Garage	8.12.16

The mound of dirt continues to shrink.	8.12.16

Panning to the right. They have started to slide wood in between the steel i-beams on ther right for what looks to be a retaining wall.	8.12.16

In the center of the site they continue to build up dirt behind the walls. Also in the foreground notice the base camp/contractors trailers that have been set up.	8.12.16

Moving further to the right two walls have been created. Looks like they are putting scaffolding between them so maybe this is an overpass point for a walkway	8.12.16

More rebar and walls taking shape as we near the river. Appears the Fantasmic Marnia is slowly taking shape.	8.12.16

Over toward Critter Country utility work is still going on.	8.12.16

Swinging back to the near lot now. More i-beams are in the ground in the middle portion. In the foreground is a staging area for continued utility work.	8.12.16

A closer look at the utility work equipment. Work is going on right along the fence line, guessing the new perimeter road will go on top of it.	8.12.16

Here you can see the tops of some i-beams that have been driven into the ground.	8.12.16

Here you can see them spreading out and compacting dirt along the new wall. Guessing it will eventually be built up to the cover most of the black.	8.12.16

A closer look at the i-beams in the ground on the center of the nearest lot. Was assuming these are to help with the foundation work for the new show building.	8.12.16

In the background what looks to be boards for the retaining walls.	8.12.16

More walls going up in the center of the site. Eventually dirt will be up to near the top of those concrete boxes in the background.	8.12.16

Interesting to see lights out in the middle of the site. Guess they are working overnight or early mornings.	8.12.16

Here you can see a truck delivering a load of dirt from the mound as they build up behind the wall along the Big Thunder Trail.	8.12.16

From the tram you can see they are working along the fence line.	8.12.16

On the Rivers of America the Columbia is out of Fowlers Harbor and docked on the east side of Tom Sawyer Island (nearest Big Thunder) so that means the Mark Twain was moved then both boats backed into place since the back of the river is gone.	8.12.16

Fowlers Harbor sits empty right now. Note the construction walls that went up recently are still up around it.	8.12.16

From the Big Thunder Trail no visible change on the walls	8.12.16

A new wall is going up on the left of the walkway.	8.12.16

Looking through the fence you can see they are doing utility work running new pipes under the Big Thunder Trail.	8.12.16

Wonder what the timeline on the trails completion is. Would be nice if they could reopen the walkway by Christmas to help with traffic flow for the holidays.	8.12.16

Moving around to Critter Country the view from near the Canoe dock	8.12.16

Still a lot of conduit and pipes waiting to be installed, beyond the water tank you can see the new retaining wall for the far bank of the river taking shape.	8.12.16

Looks like boards for the forms for the retaining walls stacked up	8.12.16

Utility work continues near the Hungry Bear.	8.12.16

It will be interesting to see how the walkway comes through here, assuming this is the connection point. Wonder if they will redo/remove the stairs that lead down and make it a ramp. Or if a new walkway will be out in the river areamore.	8.12.16
