Walked around (lazygeek is not that lazy)Downtown Disney and the Grand Californian. DD looks great. Not all of the shops are open yet, but those that were had plenty of friendly workers. ESPN Zone, Rainforest, Jazz Kitchen, Haggan Daz (sp?) La Brea Bakery, and the Catal restaurants where open, though not officially. The World of Disney store and a couple of smaller stores were open as well. Rainforest was quite impressive inside, much larger than the other restaurants they have. The ESPN Zone is going to be a very crowded place once DD opens officially. What is better that food, games, and sports. Don't anwser that question, I already know the multiple answers.

The Grand Californian is a very impressive hotel. The pictures the are circulating on the web do not do it justice and also make it look larger than it actually is.
If you have been to WDW and visited the Wilderness Lodge, this hotel will remind you of it. Keep your eyes moving inside, there is a lot great details. During a tour of the hotel, we saw Paul Pressler wandering the halls as well.
