Entertainment in Disneyland varies by season, time of day, and day of week. It is an always changing part of the park. It is one of the reasons visiting the park is always a unique experience. Everytime you get to see something different. You will want to experience some of the live entertainment options in the park on your visit. Below you will find a sampling of the entertainment options and some of our opinions.

Parades/Fireworks:

• Disneyland Forever (May 22, 2015 - September 5, 2016, Returned June 7, 2019 - Present) - The 60th Anniversary fireworks show takes you on a trip through several Disney films and memories using fireworks, project mapping, spotlights, lasers, and other effects.
  
  
• Mickey's Soundsational Parade (2011 - 2017, 2019 - Present) - Daily parade throughout most of the year.
  
  
• Fantasmic (1992 - present)
  - Night time show featuring your favorite characters, projections, fireworks, lasers, and more. Runs most weekends and many weekdays year round.
  
  
• Mickey and the Magical Map (2013 - Present) - A stage show in the Fantasyland Theatre located near "it's a Small World"
  
  
• Royal Theatre Shows (2013 - Present) - Stage show in the Fantay Faire telling classic Disney stories in a humorous way. Originally they performed Tangled & Beauty and the Beast then in 2015 they switched to Frozen.

  As part of the Get Your Ears On Celebration DJ Mickey takes over the evening show with projections on Main Street and Small World and fireworks on select nights.

• Paint the Night (May 22, 2015 - September 5, 2016) - An electrical parade utilizing modern technology to bring a classic Disney parade back to the park. This is a modified version of the parade that premiered in Hong Kong in 2014.
• Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks (January - May 2015) - Returned as a fill in until the new 60th Anniversary show premieres.
• Magical (2009 - 2014) - Runs seasonally in the summer
