    We start off this third part of Day 1 onboard the Monorail returning to Epcot (Part 1 featured the morning at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Part 2 a look at Epcot and Magic Kingdom projects).

    This will be an expanded retention pond as you near Epcot.
    Passing over the Epcot parking lot. you can see the temporary walkway and tramway and then beyond it the fenced off area that is being removed and rebuilt.

    Concrete/asphalt is being removed from the old tram area around the Monorail station.
    In the coming weeks the Leave a Legacy stones will be removed and the plaques will be relocated outside the park.

    There are walls and fences up at the International Gateway as it is reconfigured to handle the coming crowds from the Disney Skyliner.
    Due to the work there is a temporary entrance under the white tent.

    The Skyliner building rises above the ticket booth canopy.
    Only a small portion of the old entrance cover remains.. this is over the current entrance/exit pathway.

    Walls up on the former Rose Garden site that has been used for play areas and gardens during previous festivals.

    The Odyssey is acting as a small festival center this year.
    Signs are up in former smoking areas to let guests know the new policy. Most seemed to be obeying the new rule. Every now and then you would see some smoke or get a whiff of it but not that often.
