    Passing the parking entrance.
  • Page Number: 3
The bus former charter bus area is mostly behind fences and torn up.
  • Page Number: 4
The Skyliner station for the studios is taking shape (better pictures in a couple pages)
The Skyliner towers lined up toward the Caribbean Beach Resort.
  • Page Number: 5
A path through the trees has been cleared and you can see through to the Bonnet Creek Hotels in the distance.
The wall has some concept art and a map for the Skyliner.
Here is a map of the initial system that is being installed.

The new station at Disney's Hollywood Studios
  • Page Number: 7
The current state of the Skyliner station
The wheels are used to move the gondolas around the station after they leave the cable.
The current walkway, to the right is the Skyliner work. To the left WDW bus stops.

Arriving at the front gate just before 3pm.
Current WDW pricing at the ticket windows.
  • Page Number: 12
This welcome sign seemed odd as you stepped onto Hollywood Blvd.
  • Page Number: 13
    Some popcorn and sipper options.
Star Wars still takes over the center of the park during the day.
  • Page Number: 14
    A Storm Trooper Patrol
  • Page Number: 15
Due to the construction and to ease congestion stroller parking for Toy Story was across from the Little Mermaid theater.
    Walt Disney Presents
Concept art for Toy Story on the construction wall
  • Page Number: 16
    Pixar Place
A structure going up on the corner that will lead to Toy Story Land.
Beyond the construction walls you can see Woody marking the entrance to the land that opens in June.
  • Page Number: 17
A lot of FastPass+ windows were open today. So we were able to book one with no problem and walk right to the attraction and ride.
    Standby was 65 minutes.
  • Page Number: 18
The FastPass+ line was backed up. This seems to be a common trend at many attractions now a days.
Inside there are walls up as they are re-configuring the queue to accommodate the new entrance from Toy Story Land.
  • Page Number: 19
Walls up at the accessibility load area too.
    My score.
  • Page Number: 20
  • Page Number: 21
This was the merge point and entrance for the attraction. On the right are FastPass+ and the left Standby.
This is the Standby queue. All outside until after the merge.
  • Page Number: 22
More of the queue, not in use this afternoon
It crossed the street too and more queue space on the other side.
Trees are in place and you can not really see into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
  • Page Number: 23
A glimpse of one of the rock spires
Cruz is still out greeting guests. She is in the middle of the extended Toy Story queue.
  • Page Number: 24
I find this bar/cocktail stand a bit awkward. Guess it is targeted at those in the slow moving stand by queue for Toy Story. There really is nothing else in the area.
The billboards are a little out of date.. not really showing coming titles.
  • Page Number: 25
A closer look at the Toy Story Land construction wall.
  • Page Number: 26
Next up stopped by Walt Disney Presents
  • Page Number: 27
I find it interesting they still have the Paradise Pier model from the last remodel on display. Over say the Fortress Explorations model or something that is not being changed already.
  • Page Number: 28
I spent some time taking a closer look at the Toy Story Land model.
This is the exit from the 3rd Toy Story Track on the far side of the building.
    Moving into the land.

    the entrance path.
In one display case is a small portion of the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge model. Wonder if a larger display will go up once Toy Story Land opens.

On the way out a random China picture.
  • Page Number: 41
The skies were threatening as I stepped back outside.
Next stop the Launch Bay. Here were the wait times.
Inside I saw nothing different from my December visit. Thought maybe something for Solo would be added.
  • Page Number: 42
  • Page Number: 43
Smoke from the end of one of the Star Wars shows was blowing through.
  • Page Number: 44
Characters from the show exiting the area.

    Passing by the Chinese Theater.
    A couple random pictures..
  • Page Number: 47
Hmm.. seems my camera blacked out the wait time. I want to say it was long.. maybe 45 minutes but I do not remember..
  • Page Number: 48
    The ABC Commissary menu
  • Page Number: 49
Arriving on Grand Ave. Trees block your view of almost all construction except the cranes towering overhead.
The trees appear to still be in boxes. So are they there just to block construction? Or just not planted yet.
  • Page Number: 50
  • Page Number: 51
Same goes for views from this angle.. trees in the way.
The gate by the Muppet exit. Interesting the facade is still backstage. Thought that would be gone with the new gate.
  • Page Number: 52
You can see a corner of the Battle Escape show building.
They have not fully enclosed the building yet. Panels still not installed on the right (behind the tree).
    A slightly better view.
  • Page Number: 53
Upstairs was a ghost town as usual.
Temporary stairs to the roof of the building.
  • Page Number: 54
Star Tours had a short wait posted, 15 min only, and plenty of FastPass+ slots open too.
    15 shows today.
  • Page Number: 55
    Stopped by the Backlot Express
Signs up to direct you around some concrete work near Frozen's theater.
  • Page Number: 56
Temporary hedges up to block the work, not even full construction walls.
Echo Lake. Still seems odd that they did not bury the conduit to the island.
Here you can see equipment for the concrete work.

$50 an adult for the buffet now a days.
Guests and cast members playing ring toss.
  • Page Number: 59
    The bus assignments here.
Another look at the Skyliner station as we were waiting for the bus to the Boardwalk.
There are two arcs the gondolas can take. My assumption is the back/longer one is for those needing more time to board/disembark and the shorter one will be a quick return from the unload to load side.
  • Page Number: 60
A closer look at the switch point between the shorter and longer path.
The drive bull wheel for this end of the line. The cable will wrap around it. The cars will be off the cable at this point.
  • Page Number: 61
Another look at the switch point
The towers leading off to the Caribbean Beach Resort.
  • Page Number: 62
From the bus as I head toward our next destination a look at the new bus area taking shape.
