  • Page Number: 7
Disappointing to see they have taken out two of the large trees and guessing the planters too. Assuming this is to make room for the morning crowds.
Making my way into the park. Notice the 20th banners up.
    Construction in the Otter area.

  • Page Number: 15
Standby was posted at nearly an hour.
Another look at the line. It was wrapping and growing in this direction.
I opted to go see the gorillas and hope the line was shorter later in our window.

More lights and equipment have been added to the theater.
Guessing the long term plan is to have an after dark show here.. but right now 5pm is the last show.

    Some parrots flew in/by.
  • Page Number: 29
Russell and Dug are visiting Asia and they stopped in.
Another of our hosts, the birds are mostly the same as before, as expected but the dialog and show has changed considerably.
  • Page Number: 30
The bird now flies through a tunnel formed by guests vs just going after grapes.
  • Page Number: 31
On the return flight he had an alternative plan and flew above the tunnel.
And above the cast member waiting for him on stage.
  • Page Number: 32
The characters showed up in between birds. They were not really on stage at the same time as most of the birds.

Had a late lunch reservation but checked in to see if we could get a table early at Yak & Yeti since we were in the area.
I had not eaten here so it was a first for me. And thanks to my select club membership we were able to get a table with no wait.
