- 2:04pm - Arrived at Disney's Animal Kingdom
- 2:15pm - In the park and deciding where to go first.
- Winged Encounter underway.
- Some otters sunning themselves
- Decided to visit Conservation Station.
- Passing the rhino barn. A young rhino was there but I did not get a good picture
- Nothing going on at the stage this afternoon.
- They are filming season two of the Magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom for Disney+
- Nothing happening in the hospital this afternoon
- An Animation Academy class underway. Plenty of seats, maybe half full.
- You can use Genie+ to make a reservation.
- 3:07pm - These signs I always find humorous. It feels like a long walk back to the train..
- 3:08pm - That went fast.
- 3:10pm - Our train arriving.
- Made our way to Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King. We arrived after most guests had entered.
- Ended up with a decent seat. Missed the back row by a dozen guests.
- The truncated show is still being performed. The Tumble Monkeys and Aerialist have not returned yet.
- 4:30pm - Decided to visit Kilimanjaro Safari. It had a 15 min wait posted
- A nice empty queue.
- 4:37pm - On our truck and on our way. We kept walking the entire time.
- This was the highlight of the safari. Sprinklers on at the Hippo pool. Most animals were not out or hiding in the shade. Our driver was very monotone and boring too. Both nephews fell asleep during the ride.
- Passing through Asia.
- Simba is ready for the 5:15pm Disney KiteTails show.
- I choose to watch from the Flame Tree BBQ seating area.
- Most guests opted for the tiny section of shade this afternoon.
- A couple guests out in the sun.

- 5:51pm - Waiting for our bus back to the Boardwalk. Unfortunately the bus route is shared with the Yacht & Beach Clubs so its a longer feeling ride.
