- A look outside before setting out for the day.
- 8:07am - Passing by the Boardwalk Pool area
- Walking along the water on my way to Disney's Hollywood Studios to start my morning.
- Several other groups on their way. Park opening is 9:00am, resort guests early opening is 8:30am.
- 8:20am - Arriving at the front gate.
- 8:22am - Hollywood Blvd.
- Cast members in the center of the park to direct you to Toy Story Land, Runaway Railway or Galaxy's Edge.
- 8:26am - The queue for Rise of the Resistance, I am not sure if they started to move yet or this was just a pre-opening queue.
- 8:27am - Posted wait was 50 minutes as I entered the queue.
- 8:36am - Moving ok and about to enter the building.
- 8:48am - Waiting for my briefing
- 8:50am - Briefing underway. So about 20 minute wait time.

- Our transport stopped and the lights came on as the attraction went down at this point.

- A couple minutes later the safety gates were raised.
- 9:12am - We were walked off, not a long walk since we were just barely into the attraction. Less than 10 minutes after it stopped.
- The queue to get your ticket/Magic Band scanned for your return pass.
- Next up Mickey & Minnies Runaway Railway
- 9:24am - Entering the queue. Wait time was posted as 55 minutes
- We moved at an ok pace through the outside switchbacks
- My Rise of the Resistance Recovery Pass showed up.
- 9:45am - As we neared the building our pace slowed. 20 minutes into the wait.
- 10:04am - Reached the pre-show. So it was about a 40 minutes wait.
- This was my first time seeing the pre-show. In January it was not in use.
- More waiting to board.
- 10:12am - My train arriving.
- 10:21am - Back outside, just shy of an hour since entering the queue.
- The Christmas tree in Echo Lake
- Stopped by to see the Vacation Fun short since I skipped it in January.
- The theater seats.
- Showtime.
- A couple of the photo ops on the way out.
- Passing by Star Tours
- 10:51am - Decided to go see if Rise of the Resistance was operating again.
- There was a healthy stand by queue.
- It was not.
- A look at the 50th anniversary cups.
- Stopped by Rizzo's for some pizza
- The shops in the area were all closed.
- 11:41 - Entered the Lightning Lane to use my re-entry for Rise of the Resistance.
- 11:44 - Entering the briefing room (3 minute wait)
- Captured again this time.
- No problems through this time.
- 12:10pm - the Lightning Lane was really backed up, filled its queue, extended queue and was heading out toward the walkway.
- Found the end of the line.
- Passing through Black Spire Outpost
- No Christmas decorations in Toy Story Land
- A lot of people and little shade though.
- 55 min wait posted for Toy Story Mania! so we skipped it.
- No real visible progress on the new dining location.
- A good number of guests in the area for 12:18pm
- Stopped by Walt Disney Presents
- Recently an exhibit for the Disney Wish was added.
- A scale model of the Disney Wish
- This figure will be the grand lobby of the ship.
- Nearest the theater were some movie costumes.
- Another look at the Disney Wish exhibit on the way out (I skipped the film).
- Woody and Bo Peep Fab 50 Statues in the daylight.
- Flounder and Sebastian
- Joe Gardner
- Frozone Statue

- Goofy was out near Echo Lake
- He was taking selfies
- Max was also in the area
- Gertie had a 50th ornament this year

- A healthy wait for guest relations as I was leaving the park.
