10:35am - We returned from our round trip Disney Skyliner flight, visited the ticket window to get our passes, went to guest relations to sort out a problem with our passes and now are ready to start our morning in the park.
The Harmonious Barges had 50th anniversary graphics to the screens.
On the far shore of World Showcase Lagoon you could see the line for Frozen. It was showing as over an hour already in the app and we were only 7 minutes into the early entry period.
Passing by Canada.
The music decorations of the Hawaiian festival marketplace made me ready to visit Aulani.
Since my last visit EPCOT has received updated trashcan designs.
A picnic area with minimal shade.
The EPCOT Christmas Tree
World Celebration construction continues with most of the central spine of the park still behind walls and not accessible.
Imagination this morning, only missing a Monorail (really wish the app would show the location of them).
Looking across World Celebration the new dining location is moving along.
Living with the Land does not open until 11am with the park.
The Disney Genie service is available and Lightning Lanes have replaced FastPass+ return queues. I did not plan to pay for the service so I would not be using them this visit.
Soarin' was nearing an hour when I reached the entrance. Which was longer than my patience so we skipped it and waited for Living to open (which turned out not to happen due to a problem).
As we were leaving noticed the Awesome Planet movie was about to start so headed there as my first attraction of the visit.
Decided to eat an early lunch since it was not crowded and we had no where to be. So this was my lunch view today.
Back outside, another look across the construction area. This portion of the building will house the Connections Café and Eatery.
A closer look.
Joy was out but you needed a telephoto lens to see her..
Next up Journey into Imagination with Figment.
No need for Lightning Lane as it was a 5 minute wait.
Figment is wearing his holiday sweater.
No activity in much of the Imageworks this morning.
Merchandise featuring Figment in his holiday sweater.
World Celebration Construction from a different angle.

The jumping fountains were slightly off target this morning splashing a bit.
A sign of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.
A new popcorn kiosk opened along with the Creations Shop earlier this year.
This is my first visit and look around the Creations Shop.
The inside of the store is very open feeling with the large windows and minimal interior walls/columns.
Mickey Mouse statues near one set of registers.
There are some minimal Christmas decorations throughout.
Half of the breezeway is open. Here is looking to the north where the new quick service location and Starbucks will be.
A new Club Cool is open, it faces Test Track now.
The former temporary MouseGear store is currently being worked on. They are adding the large windows and a curve to the building to match the rest of it.
The curve is being restored to the building. This was cut out when Innoventions moved into the space in the 90s.
The walls are pushed back and some walkways and garden space are available now.
Guardians of the Galaxy construction continues as the former Universe of Energy is converted to the new load/unload area.
Mission Space
Monorail Gold has a partial wrap to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World.
Decided to give Test Track a try via the single rider line.
There were a fair amount of guests but it moved really fast. I was exiting the gift shop about 20 minutes after entering the queue.
Figment with a Monorail - The first Disney Fab 50 Character statue. There are 50 of these statues total between the four parks celebrating the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World.

Le Creperie de Paris outside counter had a line around the corner. Some of the group stopped for ice cream. After waiting they learned they were out of chocolate though.
While the group was in line I took a look around the area, my first.
The merchandise kiosk was covered and not in use today.
A couple modest Christmas decorations in the area.
The extended outdoor queue was not in use. The attraction is accessible via boarding group or Individual Lightning Lane purchase today.
The attraction was down when I walked by so no groups on the sign.
The wine kiosk along World Showcase Lagoon was being worked on and not open today.
The Morocco marketplace was also closed.
There is an Olaf hunt available in World Showcase. I spotted this Olaf on the sign for the Candlelight Processional at the American Adventure.
Tonight's narrator is Alton Fitzgerald White.
World Showcase felt busy for a Tuesday at 3:10pm.
Can you spot Olaf in this picture? This marketplace is new since my last visit.
Passing by the trains near Germany.
A healthy wait in Germany.
Noticed the Photo Spot signs now have PhotoPass on them instead of a sponsor.
Spotted another Olaf in Mexico.
A wider view of Olaf to give a sense of scale.
Stopped by the EPCOT Experience to see if there was anything new.
Making my way out of t he park.
Time for a round trip on the Monorail to get a better view of the construction.
Passing through the Transportation and Ticket Center the Resort and Express Monorails were both parked and not available to guests. Both lines were closed for several hours due to a switch issue today.
Passing back over the entrance to EPCOT
The walkway near guest relations on the east side of World Celebration.
You can see some curbs taking shape and a lot of equipment and material staged in the area.
Continuing on to the Connections Café and Eatery.
On the west side work for the Journey of Water attraction is underway.
Back at the EPCOT front entrance.
Walking the EPCOT tram route.
Speaking of trams, they were parked on the far side of the parking lot and are scheduled to return to service in 2022.
That wraps up part 2 of today. Part 3 will take a quick stop at the Boardwalk then back to EPCOT for the evening.
