  • Departing Disney's Hollywood Studios on the Disney Skyliner at 12:19pm
  • Drew a wrapped gondola so the view was obstructed and there were several in a row so did not bother to ask to wait.
  • 12:23pm transferring at Caribbean Beach Resort.
  • A few minutes later back in the air on my way to Disney's Riviera Resort.
  • Caribbean Beach Resort with the Skyliner in the mid ground and Spaceship Earth in the background.
  • Flying toward Disney's Riviera Resort.

  • This line appears to fly higher over the resort than the other segment along Buena Vista Drive. In the background you see the Contemporary and Bay Lake Tower.
  • Approaching the station.
  • 12:29pm reached Disney's Riviera Resort, so 12 minutes travel time since entering the queue.
  • A look back at the station. This side boards for those wanting to travel to Epcot. Notice there is almost no covered space.
  • Warnings about the Skyliner on A-Frames (these seem to be the communication method of choice at WDW).
  • Riviera Trash Cans.
  • A sign to help you know which side of the station to board for which destination.
  • Walking toward the Riviera Resort.
  • This side of the Skyliner boards for those wanting to go to Caribbean Beach Resort and connections to the other two lines.
  • There is a covered walkway to this side of the station.
  • The pavement here features rocks/shells in it.
  • Nearing the resort.
  • A closer look at one of the rooms.
  • The resort map.
  • Signs to direct you.. not overly helpful since everything is straight ahead.
  • A Peter Pan mosaic covers the first archway you cross under. There were too many people for a nice wide angle this afternoon.
  • A bridge for those staying on the second floor to reach their rooms.
  • A second mosaic features Tangled.
  • Rooms facing the courtyard.
  • Signs to help you out as you walk through the courtyard.
  • The Beau Soleil Pool (the quiet pool area)
  • Looking back at where I just walked from
  • Hedges help to keep the pool area private.

  • Notice the Skyliner in the distance
  • Swings and benches in the pool area.
  • The central courtyard was still blocked off as they cleaned up from this mornings festivities.

  • They do not serve lunch and the doors are closed so you could not even get a glance inside.
  • But there was one window in the elevator lobby that gave a view outside to sample what you would see from the terrace.
