Leaving our room a little later today, 9am. We waiting for a morning storm to pass
Walked up and the bus I wanted pulled in.. is that a good sign for the day or did I use up all luck for the day?
Wonder if I will ever see sub $3 gas again in CA.. this is over a dollar a gallon less than the Los Angeles area.
The new Cove Tower is starting to rise near Fantasia Mini Golf.
Passing the former entrance to Disney Hollywood Studios. Roadwork underway. The bridge is supposed to be removed at some point too.
9:24am, about 20 minutes from room to walking toward security. Amazing how fast you get around when you have nothing scheduled.
Arriving at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Next year once security moves further out you should be able to get good views of the Christmas tree and entrance again.
Walking through the Oasis. This Babirusa never seems to want to have its picture taken. Usually hiding or a shot like this when I walk by.
Christmas decorations on Discovery Island.
The lights were on this morning which seemed odd given it being sunny and bright now.
The Tree of Life this morning.
A Kangaroo in the Tree of Life Garden
Flamingos in the garden area too.
The otters were out playing/eating.
I am not a fan of the bubble/light/toy carts that seem to be out all over the parks. They have nothing to do with the theme and the merchandise bothers me. They seem to be playing to the lowest common denominator to make a quick buck too.
The Merry Menagerie arrived on Discovery Island around 10am.
A violin player accompanied them today.
Video clip of the Merry Menagerie with a violin player on Discovery Island at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Polar bear feet.
This wolf decided it wanted to play with the bird.
Ready to jump
Jumping up.
Making my way to Harambe.

Making our way to Gorilla Falls, which I still call Pangani, someday I will remember the name change.
Zebra at the outlook
The family troop was laying around near the window and not moving.
The bachelors were out and about.
Was catching up with a friend so we found a place to visit in the Harambe Market.

Returned to the Boardwalk in the early afternoon to meet another friend.
Spotted a Figment wrapped bus heading to Disney Springs.
Another view of the Figment bus.
A Cinderella wrapped bus heading to Disney Springs too.
Disney Skyliner from the parking lot, had to walk out to my friends car and they were parked in this far section of the parking lot.
Looking across the water at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.
Arriving at the International Gateway. A look at the Ratatouille project in France.
A short queue to board the Disney Skyliner this afternoon.
There are a couple of restrooms available in the station.
Taking flight, an aerial view of the France work.
Looking the other direction over the Boardwalk you see the cranes for the Cove project.
A callbox inside the Skyliner.
Epcot as we flew along Buena Vista Drive.
Passing through the Riviera Resort station. This new resort opens Monday.
Caribbean Beach Resort and several non Disney hotels as we fly to the next station.
Disney's Riviera Resort.
A long queue to get back to Epcot.
They were setting up more switchbacks it seemed.
The queue had overflowed outside the station.
Finally made it through the blockade from that queue so I could go to the Studios.
Back in the air.. about 5 minutes to switch.. most of which was walking through or waiting for others to get through the mass of guests going to Epcot.
Arrived at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Just under 30 min total travel time from entering queue at the International Gateway.
Decided to head out to Fort Wilderness to take a look around.
Bus pulled just after we got in the queue.
Arriving at Fort Wilderness.

The sun was not a good spot but they have started to clear more of the area for the new resort and its lakeside cottages/rooms.
Looking the other way the sun is much more helpful :)
Some pictures from the boat as I cruised to the Magic Kingdom.
The new barn structure looks huge.
