My view for most of lunch at Geyser Point (I say most because a storm rolled in and we relocated to cover at the main building).
My chicken sandwich
A small Christmas Tree inside as I walk up toward the lobby.
Artist Point features character artwork at the check in area.
This year the Wilderness Lodge has a gingerbread cabin for the holidays.
Some stats on the cabin.
A look around it.
The rest of the lobby has its traditional decorations.
One more random cabin close up as I walked by a second time.
Spotted this bird that looked different from most you usually see.
Wind was picked up as we waited to board.
Once onboard it started to rain
The rain picked up as we cruised to the Magic Kingdom
It was blowing and raining pretty good as we waited to dock. We docked with no problems and the skies opened even more. Security worked quickly to try and keep everyone moving and dry. They turned off the finger scans so entry into the park went faster too in an effort to get guests out of the rain.
We sought cover under the train station since it was close and large.
The front of the train station was roped off for a reception, guessing for the parade that did not happen due to the storm.
By 2:30 the rain had let up so I ventured out into the park.
A crane behind the castle.
Used a FastPass+ for Peter Pan.
Almost 15 min wait still due to the backup.
Stopped by Storybook Circus.
Big Top Souvenirs was closed with hedges out front.
Pluto was meeting outside.
The others were meeting as a group under cover but not in their regular building.
No 3:15 Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire due to the wet stage. But the characters came out to wave to guests.
Video of the character greeting that replaced Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire due to weather.
Decided it was time to leave the Magic Kingdom and head to Animal Kingdom.
Boarded the bus at 3:48pm
Arrived at 4:09pm. Spotted a Moana Wrapped bus at Animal Kingdom heading to Epcot.
Many of the buses now have these Eco-Coach decals on them.
The Merry Menagerie on Discovery Island.
This root structure is where the Winged Encounter birds land now.
The otters were chasing something in the water.
Going to the underwater viewing you could see them chasing a fish.
They eventually caught it or ended up with some other food, it was hard to tell.
Walking by the Tree of Life.
Walls up in the Kangroo area.
Heading into Dinoland USA which is decorated for the holidays.
Santa Goofy signing autographs.
A look around Discovery Island as it grew darker.
The rain picked up again as I made my way to the bus stop.
Bus arrived at 5:55pm
Arrived at Disney's Pop Century Resort at 6:17pm
The Pop Century lobby Christmas Tree
They are enlarging the luggage drop off area or adding a cover to it at least.
Decided to head for a night time flight on the Skyliner.
7:07 entering the queue.
The view at night in the rain is not as impressive as during the day.
7:16pm transferring lines at the Caribbean Beach Resort.
Passing through the empty Riviera Station.
Arrived at Epcot International Gateway at 7:31pm so a total time of 24 minutes.
I then reboarded since the rest of my group was heading back to the Boardwalk.
Many more guests here boarding than at the other stops this evening.
7:48pm back at CBR
7:58pm arriving at Disney's Hollywood Studios. So 27 min travel time from Epcot this evening including security check.
Hollywood Blvd.
The rain picked up again so I spent a good portion of the rest of the evening standing under cover trying not to get soaked. The radar/forecast kept saying it would blow through but it seemed to keep lingering.
Sunset Seasons Greetings. From what I could tell/remember it was the same rotation as last year.
Not many guests out for the evening shows. This was at 8:28pm
I found cover since it really started to rain again.
Watched the Wonderful World of Animation through the trees vs standing in the rain.
The rain let up so at 8:59pm (1 minute to show time) went and found a spot.
Time for Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam!
Video clips from Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam!
9:14pm joining the mass of guests exiting the park.
Decided to walk back to the boardwalk since it was not raining that hard.
Having a room near this far door was nice.. was back at the room at 9:26pm.. so only 12 minute walk from Hollywood Blvd to my room.
